I'd be more worried about what the vape from soapbar would do to you  only good thing to do with soapbar is smash it over the head of whoever tried to sell you it while telling them to fuckoff  Enjoy your vape utter mashedness awaits

+1 for good answer

Ha... I can't, he's a mate... And he has some awesome Blueberry!

...I guess i was asking out of curiosity more than anything, but i still might be tempted to purify a shitty Oz and see if it does anything... Other than fuck me up(in a bad way)!

Anyone know what the average delivery time on something like this? I believe it's been sent from Florida and should be slowly making it's way to sunny Manchester!

if ya got it in florida odds are you will need a converter and or adapter plug. it will have a different type of plug and will need your 220v current to be converted to 110 i assume..
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

Well the ad says; 1 Arizer Extreme Q 100-240 Volt Power Supply w/ North American Plug

... It has a standard power pack with the plug being on an American kettle lead... Since it seems to be a variable volt power supply i assume i can just use my XBOX kettle lead instead.

WOW..... This thing is Awesome!

Got the Extreme Q on Tuesday.... ........ ...I am now able to type!

Firs things first, the packaging was excellent,(thanks ebay guy) and any fears of paying import tax were wiped clean when i noticed it was posted as an "Air Freshener", value $10...

Anyway, smaller than i thought... Unit is only around 6-7" high and on first inspection resembles some sort of medical device, especially with the whip attached.

Came with standard package of unit, whip, bags, bag elbow, bowls, remote, screens, grinder and pot-pourri bowl & bits...Nice touch!

Initial set up and warm up was very easy and including the 20 minute warm up time probably took 30 mins... Ground a bit of blueberry and let it warm in the bowl for 2 mins... Like others before me i made the mistake of trying to put the bag together at the last minute... It's like putting a condom on... in the dark... With one hand! Even being somewhat of a professional, it still took me 5 mins.

So, bag on... Set temp to 190c, fan to setting 1... Three minutes later i had a bag full of fine vapour...

Tasted like plastic!!! Uh-Oh.........

...Oh well, i finish the bag far too quickly and sit down to sulk for a while........

...When i woke up(about an hour later), the Extreme was glowing away quite happily, looking less like a medical device and more like a Vegas Dalek...

I was definitely high... But it was very different to what i was expecting... It felt more like the kind of high i got when i was a kid smoking strange things with the taxi drivers round the back of the pub... It wiped my brain of anything useful to say, other than uuuurrrm, yeh, or uuuuurrrm, nah.

This is a good thing!

I thought i'd try again...

The hour or so i'd left it on the burn seemed to have burned all the plastic taste away... I recommend at least half an hour at 220c, maybe with the fan on before using for the first time.

This time i tried an elbow load at 195c, fan speed 3...

The above is why it has taken me a while to review the product...

The taste is unbelievable... the sweetness left on the tongue is almost fruit pastille like. I can't wait to get some different herb for it.

It's very easy to believe that you can down a whole bag in one, but this has since been proved idiotic and unlikely. It feels like fresh air for the most part until something slightly tickles your throat, and then.... BANG!!!! The throat hit and head hit are almost synchronised.

I'm a cougher..... This thing changes nothing!

So, i spent my first day with this unit overdoing it...

I spent my second day fearing it...

I spent my third day coming to terms with it's personality...

Day four was when we connected...

...And day five we spent all day in bed(couch)together...

I LOVE THIS UNIT!!!!

Yeah... I'm turning into a "Bag Man" quite quickly... The whip is fine but takes a while to get right... I also recommend elbow loading if you do use it... Very tough to toke on a full bowl, also!

Excuse my ignorance , I seen you mentioning an elbow load !? Just put the weed where the mesh would normally be ?

Er... I'm still new at this but i was told that loading the elbow(the upside down bit that goes into the bowl), and packing it tight with the fan set on 3 was probably the best way to get messed up on this thing... It tends to drain the weed quicker than normal and the initial hit is great... Bit of a kerfuffle giving it a stir, though... If you're using the whip you can just blow through the pipe to dislodge it.

...Is that wrong? :?

Ahh, the mythical oily stuff... It seems that the pipe is turning golden even with this technique so no worries so far.... I must say i'm really looking forward to harvesting the gunk... Hope it's not a let down.

...Also, i'm really going to have to look into making BHO or qwiso with my leftovers... I'm not a cake kinda guy! :D

"KeyMonCha", i'm very pleased that you too are finding out what an amazing machine this is. It just keeps on giving and giving.
I've found that less is more when it comes to getting mashed using this godsend of a machine.
Personally, like JFK, i too am a bag man!! ...but i don't know how to spell that in "German"!?!?   8)
I put the bowl in the maghine, add my mini-whip and stick the fan at 3 to heat the whole thing up while a grind up my weed. (This is so painful to type for me right now, as i've no weed and i'm waiting for a guy i know right now to deliver some 'top boot' i'm ashamed to say. :( :( :( )
My thinking is when i add the weed to the bowl, no more than .2, or .3 of a gram, yes it's one of those "Paddy Power" Ads were you think that can't be right :? :? , but i think with the bag in place, the fan on 3, all that heat is concentrated on vaping your weed, nice and loose to encourage air flow, so none is lost to heating the glass and hench all the goodness possible arrives in the bag, as it's got less chance to condense on any cooler part of the mini-whip.
I start at 195 temp wise and go up as high (pardon the pun!!) as 220. Really i go by the vapour in the bag as to when it's time to set this aside for future use and use some fresh.
As you can probably imagine, when i get my hands on some weed i try and make this go as far as possible, so i don't leave the weed when it's not filling the bag on the machine, or even in the bowl,as i think the heat will vape away some of my hard won goodness. :? :? ....so i dump it on to paper until i'm ready to use it again. Typical bloody "Scotsman"!!! just thought i'd get that in before the rest of yous!!!!
I must confess that all this 'good work'?? above in trying to conserve what i have, is massively undone because i love a joint. I mean i, really, really love a joint.
I've never tried packing the weed as you've descrided, as it seems to go against the principle of vaping, but you said it got you mangled, so i'll give that a go the next time i get some herb, ...if the good lord's willing and the creek don't rise....

As "cisco" said, there's always the stuff that builds up which left me in one of the best, or worst, depending on how you look at it!! states i've been in for many a year.
Totally different stone from that given when vaped, started in my belly and rose through my body, amazing stone, so happy, felt like i was 20 again, not 46 grinding years on the planet. Wow, wow, wow.
Annoyingly my toking buddy didn't get the same effect,...although he did say he was pretty high. :? :?
I have to say without "bleak" i would not have know about this extra gift, so hats off to the man and all the information you put up for the forum.
"Bleak","Zbeebs","BigRigRob" and others, what advice would you give about my probably misguided attemts to get the best of my vaper?

"TwoCanucks", got some of those bags you recommended so i can finally change my bags    ...now all i've got to do is get the bloody things put together!!!

This may something about a friends tolerance, but using the weed i've vaped the life out of, he will be in a state that leaves me 'green' with envy, for many, many hours!!! Lucky bastard.

C'mon the vapers!!
