I pre-rolled a couple and put them in my cigarette box. I beleive you get off the coach prior to boarding the ferry, walk into a room and walk past customs and then board the coach and it loads onto the ferry and then you are free for an hour or so.
Without causing too much offence it seems as though the custom guys were busy checking 'other' people and we passed through with relative ease.
I eemember standing on the back of the ferry watching the wake left behind and drifting into deep thought.
Although don't allow a little joint at the start of your trip to fuck up everything.

only been on the ferry once, and that was from the UK to the Dam on a bus. it was a ferry going over to france, and then the bus driving from france to holland. we wanted to have a joint on the ferry too.
we nearly got busted as, the french customs was actually in england inside the port. so they did all their checks and stuff before we borded. it was amazing that my friend didnt get pulled as they simply missed it in his pocket.
i also remeber that when we boarded and found a suitable area out on the deck, that it was so incredably windy that the joint burned down in about 30 seconds! ha ha ha hardly worth it.
