planing a trip to jamaica next year and get married there

region we have chosen so far is negril...


any info of any of you folks who have ben there would be awesome.....food,hotel,beach things to do etc....

Just went to jamaica a few weeks ago. It was my fiance and I's first trip there, It was so great

We did not get a chance to visit negril, but heard it was nice. I've also heard the weed prices are lowest there. If I were you however, I would stay at the Couples San Soucci, because it has fantastic wedding packages. We stayed at club ambiance in Runaway bay and although a great find, not wedding worthy.

Go to the BOB MARLEY MAUSOLEUM, buy your souvenirs and weed there, the prices are the lowest I payed. Great tour, of course.

MUST DO Mystic mountain ( Sky tram, bobsled coaster, zip lining)

Must DO Dunn's River Falls.

If it is a tourist feel you want ( as in you want to do the tourist activities) you really should stay within about 40 Minutes from Ocho Rios.

If you Don't plan on doing anything touristy, stay anywhere.

The locals are great. The salesman at Dunn's river are way pushy so hide your cash and say no thank you a lot.

Bring lots of one's because tipping is expected frequently and you don't want to be caught with nothing but a five or ten!
