Hi Guys!
i think your the guys to ask so i just wondering if you know any nice hotels that have smoking rooms? preferebly nearby to dam square OR leidsplein, will be with the missus so would need to be a decent hotel to save the ear-ache! just would like to be able to toke before i sleep and soon as i wake!
Hotel De Roode Leeuw <-- one ive been looking up but the write-ups dont rate it every much.
Nice Hotel w/smoking allowed
The Balcony is nice but not essential.
The Krasnapolsky has designated smoking rooms.
I've been staying there for years, but on my last few visits I've stayed at the Krasnapolsky Apartments, usually around the same price as a regular room, but you get a bedroom, a seperate living room, fully equipped kitchen.
As the apartments are behind the main hotel building, no one will ever know if your smoking or not.
I've smoked in every room I ever had there, including rooms that weren't designated smoking rooms, and never had a problem. The corridors at the Kras often smell like any coffee shop, so I'm not the only who smokes there.

The entrance to the apartments is on Oudezijds Voorburgwal, just behind the hotel. It's a fantastic location IMO.
BTW, if you try to enter dates for your stay of less than 7 nights, you will be told that nothing is available, but if you contact the apartment coordinator (Ester), she will probably be able to help you.
