I agree with repent - post it all or most of it. If you are thinking of bringing it on your person don't risk more than 1 bag weighing a few grams, preferably tucked inside a pocket amidst dirty laundry in hand luggage. This can always be played off as an accident.

But I guess it depends on the airport, Belfast and Glasgow sound harsh in terms of the constant presence of customs officers & police. Stansted has been pretty quiet at night when I have returned the last few times.

I heard this story about a guy that might've been stopped by the cops at the airport for an unpaid running a red light fine he might've got a few years ago. So he had to wait in the police office until they sorted it out, paid the fine, got a recipt and left. Bleeped at the metal detector, got searched, good to go. Going through his homelands international airport he got pulled by the now silly amount of customs, scanned the carry on bag, grilled about where he was going/coming from, good to go. Thank fek neither side had any sniffer mutts about is all I can say. :D

Thats strange with Belfast, I have walked through many times with some weed and hash in my dirty laundry that I "forgot" about and was never given a second look. Customs are strict going out of Belfast as 2 years ago going to Spain my Fiancee and I had electrical items in our hand luggage and they preceded to swab everything inside hand luggage, but coming back it was off the plane, grabbed the bag and straight out.

Then you're one lucky dude!! On the last two occassions I have returned from the Dam they were like hungry pirhanas scrutinising EVERYONE as they walked past! I've never had a problem with customs leaving Belfast, just with security

Oh, yeah and back to the thread my friend enlightened me to the fact she was body scanned at Schiphol airport enroute to Belfast last year, I haven't been, but I would urge caution!!

I've carried weed through Schiphol in my carry on, not a lot mind just enough to make a joint or 2 when I get home, I used to carry all mine on me personally before the body scanners were introduced the most I took through was about 2 ounces, I carried the same in my suitcase as well, the only time I've lost weed is through the post be it a customs letter (or 2) or 1 parcel just not turning up.

They're very neatly installed at Schiphol, at both ends of the first passport check going into departures. Didn't see anybody use them, but both were manned.

Scary stuff!! Btw my friend is anti drugs, anti alcohol, anti smoking, we have loads on common , she was with her parents and all were scanned - when she told me last week I nearly choked on my dinner, I will be more alert when I return in Sept

Yeah my plan of attack now is for a package a day to be posted priority to home, not gonna chance it anymore if Belfast has beefed up the customs, Bastards should reallt have better things to do.
