Heeey wussup

Post by ThomasMalus »

Hey my name is Thomas i'm kinda new to this forum, anything I should know? I'm Israeli (please don't get political on my ass) I'm a daily smoker but somehow I don't know shit about all these different strains and shit, I mean WTF is skunk?!!@!#$! all we smoke here in Israel is Lebanese hash and homegrown shit indica.

Anyways i'm going on a eurotrip, and guess what? last stop AMSTERDAM so I kinda got the feeling I ought to be more of a pro before strolling in to a coffeeshop and not knowing what the fuck is the difference between 16 hundred buds that all look the same to me.

Peace and Love from the middle east

welcome to the forum

well don't worry about knowing little about the world of weed ... knowing the theory is one thing, but you can also learn a lot from just doing the practical work too

imo the best way to get started is to read the Travelogues (After or During) from people who have recently returned ... the information about the shops, strains and prices will be more up-to-date and useful for planning

for example, the travel reports June 2010 Starts p.8 The Landing Has Been Soft Indeed !PICS! and Twichaldinho..June7-11, 2010....Picture Heavy.... both have a lot of information together with lovely photos

and as for a coffeeshop to start in i suggest basjoe ... the quality of the weed is amongst the best in amsterdam and the budtender james is a lovely fellow ... tell him you don't know too much but would like to learn and ask for something nice but not too strong ... then take it from there

finally i just want to double-check that you have read How not to get hit by a bike from the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite

if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive to ensure your safety in amsterdam traffic, and thanks

have a great trip ...

I'll be in Amsterdam between the 14th and 20th of July, i'll be staying at the Hans Brinker hostel, if i'm not mistaken it's right by a coffeeshop called 'Dolphins' what are the chances you guys know something about either of these places?

You have been posted on the July Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=48419

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

Dolphins has a great chill area downstairs.
