Don't really want to waste your time ranting about myself... I love Dam and visit as often as possible... so tomorrow it is then! Time to pack!

How not to get hit by a bike ... if not, it would help keep you safe in the crazy amsterdam traffic

Dank u wel for your welcome! Ok, mini rant, here goes…
I joined the site when I saw that my boyfriend (puffpuffgive) was often using it and as I had just booked a 3 day trip to Dam (leaving tomorrow!) I decided to join up too!
I got an awesome last minute deal and for a change am risking new (at least new to me!) accommodation near the Vondelpark, instead of the usual city centre spot. I anticipate visiting the usual haunts (Grey Area, Abraxas) and also ticking off a few as yet unvisited coffee shops (Andalucia, Basjoe). The plan is then to stuff in some crepe, chips and chocolate, and disappear off for a vondel in the park
There will definitely be a trip report when we return to let you know how awesome it was… as if you don’t already know!

Damsel,
Basjoe is one of my favorites. One of the places we stay in A'Dam is right between The Bluebird and Basjoe on Raamgracht.
Basjoe has great bud, and some of the best music. I am really not into the techno that plays in so many places, and reggae and reefer just seem right to me!
