Day trips from Amsterdam

Post by Iko »

Hey guys, last year we did Haarlem and The Hague as day trips ( both reccomended ), this year we are doing Rotterdam and Haarlem again, but we are keen for a third destination as well.
Any ideas of a nice town to hit ?
Also any attractions in Rotterdam that you reccomend, and are there any reccomended Coffeeshops and or purchases?
Thanks all :D .

rotterdam is not really pretty but quite cool. de lachende paus used to be a good shop with some nice gear. i would go to rotterdam and scheveningen.

I was in Rotterdam and Delft in February this year. Personally I would take a wee train ride back to Delft, really pretty place to hang for a while. There are nice coffeeshops and restaurants there. Stadscafe De Waag is nice for dinner. I didn't purchase at the coffeeshop I was in, but brought my own so can't comment on the quality of any particular strains, I had to be quick because it was a work trip and it was tricky enough to sneak away for a while :)

come to Leiden! it's closer to amsterdam than den haag and is a really lovely little town... there are 12 coffeeshops in town but only a few thatlet you smoke inside... plus they only open after 4 pm... try the leidseplein CS, the beebop for hAsh... coffeeshop goa has some nice hash an dbuds as well... de eerste kamer has a large selection but is expensive...

my recommendation is the leidseplein... get the shiva or northern lights... they also have some nicer high end strains too(cheese berry mmm)
