Since joining the ranks of the unemployed in Oct 08, I don't recall a morning that I haven't smoked, although I know there have been a couple few.
On the buzz-kill scale, I rank the workplace high on my list of places I wouldn't want to be while buzzing along. This depends on the job of course. ':)'
I can't think of too many jobs where being high/stoned would be conducive to workplace safety or good business.
What jobs/professions do you all think could be done while being high/stoned, without compromising workplace/personal safety (all things considered)?
- Coffeeshop Employee
- BYOG establishments ~ DC you lucky SOB. '
'
- Service Station bathroom attendant ''
Feel free to add to the list.

I only had 2 bags of the vaporizer with some amnesia haze.
didnt feel anything in my head, I was just energized for the whole day.
Have you experienced the same? Because my biggest worry was to become too lazy for work and when you`re really stoned you dont want to hang out at work.
whats your experience with that topic?
Used to wake & wake nearly each morning! its less so these days as i like to wait a little + get my stuff done,Its to expensive to smoke day & night anyways.

I am a much better programmer when at home and high, also I usually come up with solutions to work problems just sat with my mates high. I think any job that requires thinking/creativity can easily be enhanced with cannabis.Dirty Uncle Ron wrote: What jobs/professions do you all think could be done while being high/stoned, without compromising workplace/personal safety (all things considered)?

I don't have that urge (yet) to smoke as soon as I wake up. Only MAYBE every now and then on a Saturday or Sunday when I have NOTHING to do throughout the day. But I need to be in a relaxed, comfortable, and totally laid-back environment, otherwise it's not a good high for me. Having to do tasks while I'm high is not really my cup of tea.
In saying that, every Friday we get stoned at work all day, as it's our dead day - I'm the content manager for a publishing house, and everything gets published at the latest on Thursday, and nothing new needs to be publishing till Monday aftermoon. So yeah, but we don't actually really do work. I might have a few emails I need to reply to, but nothing overly formal or anything.
But from Monday to Thursday, I absolutely would not ever smoke before work (which is my morning time). I know it might not affect the QUALITY of my work, but definitely the efficiency of it. That's just me though.

I know, personally, Chefs, Hotel Managers, Owners of thier own Retail shops, Brickies,Plumbers,Scaffolders,Postmen,Delivery Drivers as well as cleaners, shop assisitants, call centre workers, bin-men and god knows what else, who all toke, heavily, sometimes during thier working hours.
Maybe its possible to do any job while High. After all, Motivation is down to the individual, not the drug.
Endure
