not galaxy, the Galaxy S that was released last week. with 4" super amoled screen. Best in the business by far. The old Galaxy was sucky, thats true.

"Not only does the Galaxy have a performance edge over its competitors, it's probably better too in terms of usability thanks to TouchWiz. And the majestic Super AMOLED display is a great reason on its own to buy the Galaxy. Be warned though, you're unlikely to ever go back to TFT again. Meaning that at this point, the question to ask yourself is whether you're ready for a long-term affair with Samsung."

lol samsung will flop, i dont know why everyone seems to always want to nitpick faults at the iphone but if u can pick a fault out of an iphone im sure a HTC,Samsung,Sony-Ericsson would all have this fault, main reason i like iPhones is because its more thought out than any other phone, it takes them 1 year from a new phone to bring out another, thats more thought and effort than HTC or anyone put into there phones, they design there OWN hardware (being the samsung chip which apple have modded) and do extensive testing with their own iOS4 which hands down for usability pisses over the competition, not only that but all the underground developers who 'jailbreak; the iphone and release it to its full potential? why dont they do this with other phones? hmm because they are shit! and tacky! now im no apple fanboy, but i have loved mobile phones for years (dont know why) but i enjoy using them and what they can do and apple along with the iPod have made a benchmark as to what is expected from a smartphone these days.
Free Navigation, video calls, multitasking (for real and for all apps), open software, flashplayer. Some faults iPhone has and other smartphones don't. I dont know why, I have also loved mobile phones for years and iPhone has always seemed like the one single device that has nothing more to it than the apple logo... No idea why :S

Not an apple fan boy, dislike the I-pad, Apple Laptops and the Mac PC my employers set me up with. It's nice and stylish i guess, but i'm the kind of guy who would take a wing back chair over one of those fucking werid bowl chairs that hangs from the ceiling. Style i couldn't honsetly give a fuck about, comfort and entertainment are my main piorities. Which the Mac doesn't do 'cos it doesn't let me play fucking PC games while i'm at work
If you like apple, fair enough, but it's the same with the I-pod; they make things slightly different in a way which has a minor improvement on your experience at a high price. However, this isn't what annoys me, it feels for me like alot of the improvements on the I-phone could of been made in the original model if Apple had waited a bit instead of rushing the I-phone out knowing that people would flock to by it because;
1) Apple is fashionable,
2) People will pay stupid money so they can make others look like cunts with 'shit' phones,
3) People won't realise that it's a bit weird that they have an I-pod already so why are they combing an I-pod and a phone when you have an I-pod already? You're buying something you already have again because you can talk to your friends who either have the I-phone to talk about how great they are or you can ( this is the most likely ) tell your mates with non-I-phones how shit they are.
For me, the I-phone is bullshit, i have an I-pod because my girlfriend bought me one, and it pisses me off. Why the fuck do i have to attach to a computer to charge or buy another piece of bullshit I-pod orientated object with an I-pod dock. Why? It doesn't save polar bears because i have to plug said computer to the wall which takes it energy from something that i can guarantee isn't reusable energy. It's a pain in my arse, i know it makes the I-pod skinny but tbh if you're holding a music player and thinking that's it's too heavy or fat you either need to build up your wrist muscles for holding it and not be a girl, so get wanking. Or your music is lame, so much so you don't concentrate on it, rather you worry that what is playing it could be a couple of milligrams lighter.
I have a Land Rover S1 phone, yes it doesn't have apps and i know i said about entertainment earlier; but fuck i throw it at things and it bounces and that's awesome, yes it doesn't look like a dude in skinny jeans and gay hair designed it, yes it's a bit chunky but so is Holly Willoby and that's why i love the bitch. The I-phone might look nice, and might play music, but fuck i've got an ipod already and if you talk shit about my S1 i'm going to hit you over the head with it until you die because that shit is indestructible, and therefore bad-ass.
Basically if an S1 went into a pub it would order a pint of Ale and talk about hammers and wood etc. while making sexist comments and eating a pie. An I-phone would order a white wine spritzer. I know which one i'd rather have...

Just think apple have got the smartphone bang on, and yes I've seen the range rover phone, remeber the JCB one?!?
