Just think apple have got the smartphone bang on, and yes I've seen the range rover phone, remeber the JCB one?!?
And how about Nokia's lame attempt with that thick rubber case.... 5140, i think?

I'm not a big lover of Apple products... since I lost my old 4gb ipod my 5800 has taken its place but kills the battery... the battery is better now with v50 software just. Maybe time to see what this apps stuf is all about and get a 3Gs, now that the prices are plummeting.

Flash web viewing = dynamic internet viewing experience.
iphone offers no Flash = no dynamic internet viewing experience.

IMO, never get an iphone.

Get any other smartphone that offers Flash and you have it all, as opposed to iphone users who don't.

if i wanna view flash videos id much rather view them on my computer?

if i wanna browse the web/forums etc.. then my iphone is ideal. i dont see the big point in apple not having the flash support, we dont ACTUALLY need it?

what do we miss from this? not much at all im my opinion, i know you can only pick this downside from the iPhone and maybe so but it just doesnt appeal to me

IMO iPhones are ideal for my business/pleasure use, its got everything i need in a well thought out package.

i just dont understand why people dont like iPhones, i didnt think they was good at first i hated touch screens, but once i had a play around with one it was perfect!

supposedly apple is releasing a software update soon to fix the issue. also a good case fixes it too. i made sure to get a nice hard protctive case for that reason when i ordered mine last week. dunno how much they are in the uk with 2 year plan but when i upgraded/signed a new 2 year agreement i paid $200 for my 16gb iphone 4(wish i had gotten the white one) which is about £130.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

got mine free on the upgrade, there where no white ones around in the UK had to order but i couldnt be arsed waiting, plus the black one is actually really nice!, and that picture above is a screenshot straight from the phone so thats how big the resolution is, looks 10x better on this screen too, and i cant fault the HD video recording its very very good!

the on ly phones that at&t and verizon seem to give away for free are the less popular ones. not even the iphone 3gs is free i dont think. i think they are still $99. lucky you got it free on an upgrade. seems like its the way it should be. steve jobs made announcement today that free cases will be given and those who bought them will get a refund(i guess im in this group) and also rubber bumpers they sell help. and also supposedly that software update is coming out. i think i'll be keeping my old trusty 3g just in case.

even though im an apple guy and love the iphone , im in agreement with pauli walnuts. this shouldn't be happening with a phone this expensive/hyped. more testing should have been done, and for those who bought one should get a nice discount/refund on the phone. so if they payed 200 for the 16gb they should get a $50-$75 or more rebate/refund on the phone.

Got mine on launch day but returned it so I could switch to Orange. Loving it, no signal issues either.
