opinions on these pls , think 1 Indi & 1 sat ,grown using sunlight, dark cupboard & water , I think they were fed drip feed for the 1st month .Then just water .Ive said that some sort of feed should be used to help bush htem out , am I right in thinking this & yes ive read shitloads

Nice healthy plants--that sativa looks a bit on the stretchy side-- but the indica looks lovely

perlite and vermiculite...will help yer roots breathe...nice looking so far

Nice pictures. The plants look good. My few cents worth.
You seem to know nothing or very little about these plants, nicked perhaps? ':shock:' ':lol:'

The first plant is an Indica dominant strain - broad leaves; short, stout stalk.
The second is a Sativa dominant strain - finger-like leaves; greater space between internodes than an Indica.

What is the growing medium?
Some of it looks fibrous, like shredded coconut husk. I have used coconut husk once before as an addition to a ready mix. After experimenting with different mediums, I decided to use a combination of ready mix/w Perilite and cocos. To each their own and what ever works best. Whatever it is, it's working. ':D'

Indica - This plant looks really healthy, the color a vibrant green, the stalk and branches rigid, and no signs of nutrient or pest problems.

Sativa - This plant also looks healthy, no deficiencies or sign of pests, although the lower branches look spindly. They should be the most pronounced branches on the plant. I can also see a little discoloration beginning as well. IMO, time for feeding. (see Conclusion). As mentioned, the plant does look a little stretched although not badly, yet. Nice even spacing between internodes, except on the bottom. I would caution you to be careful with the height. If you plan on keeping this plant indoors, you might want to be aware of a widely known fact - the Sativa is a plant that when mature can reach heights of over 5 meters. (See conclusion).

Conclusion:
Not sure where you are going to put these plants once they get too big for your cupboard, but be aware of the following since you are using sunlight and assuming that you are not artificially shortening the hours of daylight.

1. The Indica probably won't be ready for harvesting until late September/early October, and November for the Sativa. Depending on your method, this could get old in a hurry, moving the plant from light to dark, back and forth. ':lol:'

2. Sativas are know to grow tall indoors, very tall outdoors. Some strains are know to grow over five meters tall, while I suspect yours will probably be average and grow to somewhere between 2.5 to 3.5 meters, really just a guess though. In the proper environment, you could grow a plant indefinitely by maintaining the vegetative state (and all things considered). According to legend, an original strain of the UK Cheese was kept in vegetation for years, only to die because of a power outage. Fucking nuke the mother fucking nukes. ':twisted:'

3. When you begin feeding, I recommend that you start out lightly at first (50% diluted solution), then increase to the manufacturers recommendation. Once you start feeding, keep an eye out for signs of over-feeding. There are plenty of books and articles that describe various maladies such as over and under feeding, what to look for, and how to fix the problem(s). Also, there are lots of links provided throughout this forum, not to mention various perspectives similar to what I have provided.
