Park Hotel is a high class hotel without much soul--its pretty expensive and has lovely rooms all kitted out with internet access etc which they charge 15€ a day for, needless to say i refrained---lovely breakfast which you can get included in the package for the same price if you look at booking agencies---I booked through the internet company octopustravel
The place is used mostly for conferences etc and the staff seem to be contantly attending to the corporate guests and leave tourists alone mostly----if I was going to Amsterdam next time I I'd pay half the price for a travelodge type room and be just as happy
Still I mainly booked this hotel so that if the wife didnt like Amsterdam in general ( She Loved It ) then at least she would like the nice hotel, which she did so all was fine
