Ramping Up
It's been a long wait since I first started planning, but the flight is now less than two weeks away. July 18-30 or thereabouts. My fifth visit (and mind you, my first was eighteen years ago). This will also be my longest visit to date. Hoping to pack in lots of touristy activity in combination with some serious head-trippin'.

You have been posted on the July Whos In Town page.BayouBaxter wrote:July 18-30
You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.
By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.
Enjoy

Thanks FBN, much appreciated.
Woo-hoo, less than 48 hours till I take flight. And suddenly I'm running around with no time to get ready. Funny how all those daydreaming details I planned out, all those travelogues I vicariously mused over, back when this trip felt like just a distant mirage, are now my sole source of concrete preparations.
Feeling pretty psyched, though, I must say.

since you are interested in some serious head-trippin' and may be walking about the town ... i just want to double-check that you have read How not to get hit by a bike from the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite
if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive to ensure your safety in the crazy amsterdam traffic, and thanks
have a great trip ...
