Anyone going to Amsterdam for the world cup final ?

Post by Cisco »

I came into a wee bit cash while i was away last week , came home to a cheque . While watching the football last night i thought "how good would it be to be in Amsterdam for the final" ?

So is anyone going over ? im really thinkin bout it say £300 for the weekend sorted , but i want a new laptop aswell , and £300 would be a fair bit towards it !

But you cant buy memories right ? AARRGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

What would you do ?

I'd look at hotels first, I reckon you'll struggle to find anywhere.

Sorry for bursting the bubble mate, I know from elsewhere someone's had to pay through the nose to get a room as all the cheaper places are fully booked, what dates are you thinking about and whats your budget, I'll have a mooch for you and see if I can find anything.

Saturday-Sunday 10th and 11th July mm dunno bout my budget i could stretch almost anything but that aint the point right ? its all about a cheapo trip to see the football !

I would also be tempted to go over just for the sunday (depending on flight etc) i will research that just now .

So say i was lucky enough to get the Winston your talking maybe £25-£30 pn for a shared room .

Cheers for avin a wee look Boner i need to leave for work soon !  oh well the thought of a possible mad dash to Mokum will take up my day

Two Americans in 'dam for the world cup weekend

Post by wheagle »

Hey all,
I booked the airport hotel, Park Plaza, I think. I know it's far away from Central Amsterdam but it was cheap, about 75€ a night.

Any suggestions where we can watch the game and smoke? I'm assuming the game will be on all over the place.

Anyone who's interested in meeting up with two yanks from Pennsylvania is welcome to contact me.

Awesome, have fun.
I'd personally be at Museum Square to see it with the other 50 thousand folks, will be a party.
Sadly, we will miss the final by a day, hard to predict these things 6 months in advance  .

The Museumplein was crazy Tuesday night and I don't want to imagine how it will be tomorrow. But I'll be there

Peace,
