Accommodation for 6 in August. Recommendations, pls?

Post by dedampkring »

Hi,

Planning a trip to Adam for one of the last two weekends in August. Preferably the end of the month, but realise we may struggle to get anything booked for the BH weekend.

Going with two other couples, and looking to keep costs down as much as possible. We are looking for a 3-bed apartment, but are open to B&B's, house boats, etc. Obviously, in reality we are just looking for "a bed for the night", but also looking for something half decent - i.e. clean, for the ladies! :)

We have been comparing the cost of car rental vs flights, and it looks better to hire a car and catch the train, and then park at the Olympic Stadium.

Have been before, twice, but only me and the mrs, so a slightly different trip this time...

Open to all suggestions, ideas and tips...

Thanks, DD

Not completely decided yet, but likely to be 20-23 Aug, or 27 - 20 Aug.

It's a little send off with some friends before we emigrate to Australia! Can't fucking wait, for Dam or Oz!
