I was researching best pain relieving strains, and many searches bring me to Trainwreck.
I found this quite strange as it is highly sativa dominant, the original is supposed to be 90-10, the current ones 70-30.
Am i missing something, is Sativa actually a better pain relief, or does this strain contain some other property.
Thanks all.
I have a sciatic nerve prob that flares up sometimes from too many years of doing gymnastics (those landings are murder) and Trainwreck is one of my favorite strains. To me it's not always the strongest, but it's never disappointed me either, so maybe it does have pain relieving qualities. I tend to gravitate toward those and another wonderful medicinal strain? NYCD - one of the very best to combat nausea, but really it's what your body 'takes to'. Mine naturally takes to NYCD... just smelling it can make me feel better and that's not an exaggeration.

Try different strains, especially when you are in pain. I think that would help you to see what your body reacts to in the most efficient manner. I had a flare up in Amsterdam in April; went to Mellow Yellow, ate a spacecake, smoked some S5 Haze (sativa dominant) and felt MUCH better. Try different strains readily available to you during times of pain, you'll see which works the best for your body and I truly wish you health with minimal discomfort.
