notes from my first trip

Post by caveman »

Well, I survived my first A'dam trip. Unfortunately, I only met up once with other ACD'rs, Lebowski and his girlfriend. Oh well. Here are some notes...
-What a beautiful city! A lot of the time I was just sitting at a park or by a canal and reading. It was very relaxing. But the city is very confusing at first. I had to constantly look at the map.
-The zoo is a fun place to go, especially baked. Ditto on the Van Gogh museum. The damn gorillas didn't make their presence known, though. Bunch of introverts.
-Some guy in a boat gave me and three other folks a free ride/tour. It was probably the coolest thing that happened all trip.
-Big Buddha Cheese frm Katsu was probably the tastiest weed I had. Smelled so heavenly.
-Hindu Kush from Club Media was a great indica. I smoked a j at Vondelpark and my arms became so heavy and buzzing that I had to lay them down. It was nice.
-Paradox is a sweet shop. I had their Bio Sense or something. It described itself as a 'natural high' and that it was. It was probably the smoothest flowing high I've ever had. Super chill stuff.
-But then I had their Ace/White Widow, about three hours before I had to get on the train. I have never had a trip like that before. It was more like an acid trip, actually. The world became a cartoon and all I could think about was getting on my train. I had the worst cottonmouth ever and I could barely sit in one place. I basically had a four-hour bout of insanity. Respect earned. Maybe it didn't help that I read Notes from the Underground by Dostoevsky in basically one sitting beforehand.
-And the bikes. My god, the bikes. You guys weren't exaggerating.

hahahha, wicked report, sums up the joyful confusion of a first-time trip nicely. big bhudda cheese is an awesome strain. Such a sweet, candy-fruit skunk fragrance. hindu kush is also awesome. You picked some top strains!

  Surreal, eh? Agreed regarding the Hindu Kush at Club Media - best value. I can't remember how much over a gram it is, but getting over a gram for 9 euro stuck out in my mind as one of the best 'bangs for your buck' of the trip. Vanilla Kush tastes nice, but also a lot more for just one gram.

Nice! Bonus points for reading Dostoevsky and then getting high. Fabulous way to realign your synapses. :)
