Google Maps - Coffeeshop List?

Thanks abcdabcd, this is some work in progress.

One question for the forum, why is it so difficult to acquire information? Every shop in The Netherlands is required to be licensed, so there must be some type of registry or database that contains the names and addresses, right? Anyone have a contact in the Dutch government that would provide such a list? Any type of Freedom of Information Act like in the US?

Making the file itself, I don't know how since I had another coder do it. If you want the same exact map/file I can send it to you. Or else I found another program recently called: Tyre this program works well, you can put in a link to an existing google map and then you can save it into your own KML (Google earth/map) file and upload to your own map. Or you can also import them into your TomTom navigation.
