Hi

Post by Tucklt »

Hi all. I'm Ben and I'm 27 from England. I'm heading out to the Dam for the first time on Tuesday for 3 nights. I've found this site really useful in my planning. I'm a kinda solitary guy and whilst I love the sound of getting high all day then heading out to trance boat parties, I'll probably be looking for a quieter scene. So if anyone can recommend some nice quiet cafes with good weed I'd be most grateful :D

Anyway great site! Hope to chat to some of y'all in the future.

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the July Whos In Town page.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=49079

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.

How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.

Enjoy

welcome to the forum

yo-yo and la tertulia are quieter shops out of the centrum and both run by women

yo-yo is in de pijp area and has organic outdoor weed, it is also an art gallery so is a very pleasant stop ... it also has one of amsterdam's best apple tarts imo

i just want to double-check that you have read How not to get hit by a bike from the excellent S G Collins website recommended by FlyByNite

if you have already read the document, then thanks, but if not, then please please read before you arrive to ensure your safety in the crazy amsterdam traffic, and thanks

have a great trip ...

To be honest mate theres tons of great chilled coffeeshops . 420 cs sticks out for me not the best bud you get get in dam but so chilled, and liked paradox too. if your in de pijp area its ocean for the lovely chilled leather couches you melted into and de graal. some manic and usually packed places which you might avoid are barneys / dampkring 2 / greenhouse

Thanks for the advice Paco and Stuart. I've got an endless list of the popular cafes but am building a back up list of quiet places. Added yours to the list!
