Caution: According to leading ACD experts, the following may contain drivel.
You have £700/828e for four days of food, drink, smoke, and misc., which equates to about 207e per day.
First stop, Albert Heijn. AH is probably the best one-stop-shop supermarket in The Netherlands. In addition to AH, there are numerous Kiosks that dot the city in which one can grab a quick, cheap bite.
Example of things to consider buying and storing in your room.
- Fruit drinks: Will help keep your energy levels up while providing vitamins and all that. Also much cheaper to buy in bulk than one at a time.
- Trail Mix (assorted dehydrated fruits and nuts): Cheap and healthy snack alternative. Better and cheaper than fries. A large bag of trail mix can last a couple of days, whereas the fries maybe five minutes.

- Sliced bread, spread, meats, cheeses, lettuce, PB&J, etc...: A standard loaf can provide about 8-12 sandwiches, plenty enough to cover four lunches. Some of these items may not be practical if you don't have a fridge. If the room does have a fridge, you could save quite a bit.
To save money on gear, look for the specials like the one mentioned about the White Widow. At 32.50e for 5gms, now that's a money saver. And WW is one of the most potent strains available.
Have fun.
