that sounds reasonable...
you gotta shop for the buds though,u don't get much if you buy 14euro g kush or haze but u do get nice n high :)

You can get some nice White Widow at Softland for 32.50euro for 5 grams :)
also Hillstreet Blues 1 and 2 do a special for the same price i believe :)

These help inbetween buying some nice Blueberry indica from Old Amsterdam
or
Anadlucia for its Amnesia Special, coated in crystals....

sensible man!

Yeah I was planning on buying a nice 5 gram deal or two to keep at the apartment...
I was planning on mostly buy and fly and smoking in the park and as walking...heard this wasnt a problem in amsterdam.
I also plan on making Basjoe my home base and also buying and hanging in Haarlaam for a few days.
I know most of you are huge smokers but even after 15 years of non stop smoking, I can make 2-3 joints out of a gram of bud, as long as its all bud no stems/seeds. As i said even at home I mostly solo smoke.
My main goal was to try as many different strains as possible to investigate which strains I want to grow at home.

lol id say about 150 a day is alright. Ive found the biggest expense is food. Ive been to places and had an averae chesseburger and chips for say, 18 euros. thats like 15 quid its ridiculous i can get that same meal, only WAY nicer at home for like 3.50. And with the weed in my experiences ive found that money talks in the sense that the more expensive strains tended to get me higher way quicker than the average price range. 12 euro hawian snow ftw baby :D

Yeah I agree with Baz about 150 euros a day, or you could easily get by with about 100 a day if you had to.

Caution: According to leading ACD experts, the following may contain drivel.

You have £700/828e for four days of food, drink, smoke, and misc., which equates to about 207e per day.
First stop, Albert Heijn. AH is probably the best one-stop-shop supermarket in The Netherlands. In addition to AH, there are numerous Kiosks that dot the city in which one can grab a quick, cheap bite.

Example of things to consider buying and storing in your room.
- Fruit drinks: Will help keep your energy levels up while providing vitamins and all that. Also much cheaper to buy in bulk than one at a time.
- Trail Mix (assorted dehydrated fruits and nuts): Cheap and healthy snack alternative. Better and cheaper than fries. A large bag of trail mix can last a couple of days, whereas the fries maybe five minutes.
- Sliced bread, spread, meats, cheeses, lettuce, PB&J, etc...: A standard loaf can provide about 8-12 sandwiches, plenty enough to cover four lunches. Some of these items may not be practical if you don't have a fridge. If the room does have a fridge, you could save quite a bit.

To save money on gear, look for the specials like the one mentioned about the White Widow. At 32.50e for 5gms, now that's a money saver. And WW is one of the most potent strains available.

Have fun.
End of Drivel Caution Zone.

IMO 100-150 euro is plenty , tips on saving a few eruos is shop at the Albert Heijn food beer, food, snacks, you will save a load jsut by doing that, eat out cheap walk to wok, pizza places around the corner from the rookies coffeshop is good too, 5 euro pizzas not bad, there are tons of ways to save , and get out of the centrum to buy your gear you will save there too

Peace Matty

Trail Mix is essential! In Germany it's called "Studentenfutter".
I always have a 500g ration for energy emergency cases in my Adam handbag (don't use backpacks, 'cause you'll get robbed. am no fag!!!)!
Pur energy on demand and that tasty and healthy...

Some kind of oldschool stuff, love those good old time qualitative things...

From my calculations (never been but 1st trip in Dec) the number to really have a ball is 400E A DAY/ 7 Days for smoke (To get around to everything). Unfortunately, after doing the budget yesterday, the old lady decided the smoke budget is 40E a day. Her excuse was "Oh, it's okay, We can go to the 25th cup". All I can say is she is lucky. (Lucky I'm a P*Whipped little bitch)

All of our opinions are bias in the end though. We all LOVE weed! Of course we are going to say MORE MORE MORE! :P

weedhog wrote:Hmm.. Im only gonna have 120 euros per day...but gonna be there for 2 weeks. Coming from the USA. Im spending around $4000 for the trip including accomadations. Thats is really all I can possibly spend. Are you guys saying 120 euros a day for spending is not enough? I will be solo so thats just for me. If thats not enough I may have to reconsider going.., :(
I have done the 14 day trip twice and 120 a day should be good. I try to take 2 days off from the coffeeshops, say day five and 10 or 11 and just smoking all the left overs from the earlier days and not spend any cash by laying around hotel/apartment(recovering) and doing things that are free. If you can do this it will raise your daily budget by 20 euro a day on the other days. Plus I am not in my 20s-30s any more so the breaks are needed from the crazy partying I do the other days. The main thing is have fun and do not run out of cash with 2 or 3 days left cause that would suck.

some great advice!

i deffinatly wanted to visit a supermarket and buy bulk snacks, beers and juice for the hostel. cheers!

there are a couple pricey meals that i want to eat like breakfast at popeye's, breakfast at barney's, milkshakes at hunters and burgers at burger bar. oh and a couple of other edibles like brownies/muffins and truffels :D

there are 4 of us going so buying weed wont be as pricey as going solo. just buy it in rounds like buying beers in the pub i geuss

Yes thanks for all the replies. The more I investigated I believe my budget will be fine. I am staying in an apartment with a fridge, microwave and stove, so I will only eat 1 meal a day out and a snack or 2. I dont see smoking more than 5-7 grams a day solo as I will be in no hurry with 14 full days to enjoy. Also I dont drink alchahol or coffee so that'll also cut down expenses also.
