this is the greatest!!!!!

seriously, i've got the volcano for home base and 3 various "mini's", which were much more expensive(250$) and much less productive than the sweet 99$ for this bad boy...

the wood & plastic makes no scorching hand worries...real easy to refill and heats up instantly...really!

can't recommend enough!...Peace. :D
don't panic...smoke some organic....

Thats it, just ordered mine off ebay £80. It's the new model with the low battery light and a nice little bag of goodies to go with it, cant wait. I shall give it a good workout next weekend in Holland.

I've got both the iolite and the launch box. I love both, but for solo sessions really prefer the launch box. It gets me incredibly baked on very small amounts of weed and there is really no waste at all.

That being said, the iolite is much better for social situations when sharing with friends.

I'm on my second Iolite and it's started to play up like the first one did after 6 months or so. You just never know how long you're gonna have to click the bloody thing to get combustion. They changed the first one OK for me, so this one will have to go back too, unless I can repair it myself which I and my son in law will attempt this afternoon. :?

Go for it Cisco, you saw mine in Eindhoven they're pretty good and I use mine all the time. It has its limitations with the batteries though, but thats OK, just have to keep them charged up.
The Iolite has died though but I liked that too so I will replace it :).

Peace out!

Do these things get hot, or does the wood insulate it? And how about that plastic piece, does it get hot and possibly give off fumes? It looks almost to good to be true, but everyone seems to really like it! I'm almost sold on it.

Nah, they never get hot on the outside (either the wood or the plastic cover). Occasionally the battery is quite warm, but thats it.

I'm not worried about plastic fumes, because the plastic cover is raised from the heating element, and also because the hot air/vapor doesn't pass by the plastic. Its a bit hard to explain without looking at one, but the air comes through the back, and passes underneath the screen, collecting the vapor, and goes directly to your mouth. This is unlike most other vapes, where the fresh air always goes through the screen from the top.

You're right, everyone DOES like them... Its almost impossible to find a bad review (apart from a couple of first time users who 'don't get it', or people who don't like vapes anyway)

After 6 months or so, I've noticed the Launch Box gives one of the best flavor hits of any vape I've tried (which is a lot!). I have a theory about why!

My theory - Because the unit is so tiny, the vapor-producing action takes place literally about 10mm from your lips. There is almost zero "path" for the vapor to take. The very instant the vapor is released, its in your mouth already, with no time for anything to degrade.

I think this freshness improves the flavor.

This is reinforced by people who tell me you can't leave Volcano bags around for too long, or they go stale.
