Nah, they never get hot on the outside (either the wood or the plastic cover). Occasionally the battery is quite warm, but thats it.

I'm not worried about plastic fumes, because the plastic cover is raised from the heating element, and also because the hot air/vapor doesn't pass by the plastic. Its a bit hard to explain without looking at one, but the air comes through the back, and passes underneath the screen, collecting the vapor, and goes directly to your mouth. This is unlike most other vapes, where the fresh air always goes through the screen from the top.

You're right, everyone DOES like them... Its almost impossible to find a bad review (apart from a couple of first time users who 'don't get it', or people who don't like vapes anyway)]

So far??? (after a huge 2 night use  ) ^^^^ what he said :D

@bleak , if you convert enough people , put in for a commission :D

wicked, glad to know you're enjoying it as much as me!

Are you grinding the weed up nice and fine, almost to powder?

heheh @ the commission! Word of mouth is carrying the Launch Box in a BIG way, as they are a small company with very little marketing (yet). I keep hearing these stories like "I passed the LB around at a party, which resulted in 5 people buying their own"

Thanks M8s! I think I will get one of these things, when the ship comes in. I have a Vapor Tower now, which is fine. I recently converted it into a homemade, Jerry rigged, Verdamper. That's great, but having something mobile would be nice!

So I ordered mine today, and paid for next day delivery. I was wondering if anyone had bought extra rechargeable batteries, particularly fast charging ones. I dont think I am going to be able to wait the 8hrs that it is suggested you need to charge the batteries for. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

I got some Sanyo Eneloop batteries and they work fine.

The charging time depends more on the charger, not the batteries. My research said that the fast chargers are not as healthy for the batteries, it will give them a shorter lifespan.

8 hours is VERY long though, I haven't heard of a charger that slow. I've got a cheap 1 hour charger, but eventually I'd like a better one with, say, a 4 hour charge...

Hey Bleak, check out the Maha Powerex chargers, they are the best ones to keep your batteries healthy. I've had this one for years and love it...

This is quite simply the absolute best thing in the whole entire world, ever. Its tiny and you can use it anywhere. It only arrived a few days ago and I have used it at home (without being clocked by housemates), walking the dog (without being affected by wind and rain) and down the pub! (without getting my ass kicked and being barred). Very easy to use, very stealthy, very efficient. If you know any medical users of cannabis, you should tell them that they MUST own this product. This is either the best thing to happen in my smokig lifetime (freedom to enjoy cannabis when and where I want), or the very worst thing that could happen (freedom to enjoy cannabis when and where I want). One thing is for sure. I'm gonna have fun finding out...

no real experience of this unit, but I am debating between getting one of these or an Iolite.

as for European suppliers there is also http://www.vapefiend.co.uk which provide the unit for £80, plus free worldwide delivery.

I've got one of each and they are different tools, the magic flight is quick and less conspicous and the Iolite is for a more leisurely toke and its bigger, about the size of a smartphone but thicker. Great innovations both of them :D :D .
The Iolite is a good machine, I've had one for a couple of years now and when it malfunctioned after a years use I sent it back to the manufacturers and they replaced it no problem (2 year warranty).

Happy Vapers.
What a long strange trip it is.

Bought a MFLB a couple days ago. Works as advertised. Would recommend.
