On my first trip back in 2001 I took my video camera, I was just randomly filming and a guy just started going off on a mad one in front of my camera.
However unfortunate this guy may be, it's entertaining. They've moved a lot of these people on, rightly or wrongly they did give Centrum some character:

He could still there doing the same thing, whatever that is (fleecing tourists for cash maybe, although he didn't want anything from me). Have you seen him, or similar?

I'll bet. Although i'm guessing for the most part they leave the locals alone.

They will lock on to anyone who is not Dutch. I feel for visitors that get caught in the innumerable scams people run. Do not try to buy anything from these people!

i made the comment to my missus recently, about how i was sure that there used to be far more mental cases about, when i first started going in 2000ish.

i agree deffo less of the strange folks and junkies knockin about than in the early 2000s

Don't see as many crack heads there these days either. I probably ran into maybe 2 in the space of 5 days earlier this year.

This was my 10th time here.
Kadinski got robbed at gun point on sunday night.
An american guy was telling me he was at the bar havin a bong when someone came in and had there takings away!!
Couldn't believe it. 1st time i heard anything thing like this happening.
