@OTC are you going to the "sonne mond sterne" festival?
Was there twice 2002 and 2003! The police terror will be masiv, be careful!
On the way to the festival each car will be checked during all three days and even after and before!

Nah Colina I'm off to Wacken for some metal. Got Maiden, Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Arch Enemy and loads more. My head is simultaneously imploding and exploding at the prospect......which is nice.

Regardless of police terror i have plans for my smokes, most will be prerolled and stored in an appropriate place and i probably won't carry anything else. And if all else fails there are two beergardens and countless other small inebriation centers.

Staying near the station in a 4 star hotel (Jacuzi, bar, sauna - the lot)!

For what works out only £22.61 per night

Just means walking 20/30 mins to the station. Then 25 mins on train.

I'll be at the Lagwagon/No Use for a Name gig at the Melkweg on the 5th.

OTC wacken is great fun! I was tehre after amsterdam on 2006 and 2007. No problems with weed ever, you could smoke it pretty freely and also didnt get stopped by police at any time in my finnish license plated car! Have fun at germany, that's the single best festival in the world. Word of advice, dont think you can get to the towns convenience store during the festival. Do your shopping beforehand or wait hours on end in a queue outside the store.

About not meeting earlier, I am down with that too. We seem like people with same kind of interests, I already "organized" one t&t, now you do one. date and time and place and I will try my best to be there with my missus

Well i already want to visit paradox for the artwork and it seems like a great chilled out place to chat in. The 3rd would also be better for me now that i look at it a bit more in depth so how about.

P.s. Cheers for advice Mindraker, a few of my group have been before and have regaled me with stories about q's and so on but i am prepared.

@ OTC I think wacken is a great festival for metalheads. I guess there will be not that much police as on a electronic music festival.
As Mndraker says even no prob with smoke at all.
