Hide, what are you on about?. Between the 2 of us only 1 sounds like they have trouble with 'meathead' doormen. DOORmen, front of house, on the way IN. The particular doormen we're talkin about here will be on the door of a coffeeshop, supposedly to stop armed robbers......and here you are, chest all puffed out giving it the "Well'ard, I don't give a fuk" speech. ffs mate, wise up?.

Where's the insult?. Saying yer meatheadish and talk macho bollox is far from an insult, it's the truth. From what I can tell, you seem to be ok with giving off that impression so it can hardly be considered insulting to suggest it. I'm not picking a word fight mate, I'm just a bit bored of hearing how hard you are, who cares. In this context like the last, it's deffinately a case of brawn over brain working and makes you look "Meatheadish"?. It would be the actions of somebody like yerself that get's somebody else killed for a few hundred euros. Aye, 'dead clever'.

DC, I wouldnt argue with you for one second that if someone points a gun at me I will give them whatever they want - possessions are replaceable, lives are not.
However, if you are running a business and give all your cash to anyone that walks in with a weapon and waves it slightly threateningly you'll soon get a reputation as a soft touch and every cunt'll try it on, and you'll either go bust or need a team of doormen.

Aye, but if you're a regular spot for being hit up then surely the police force would set up near enough they could catch people, in other words wouldn't it be an easy touch but a sketchy place to do because of the amount of police attention?

I agree with DC, when i volunteered in a place in Manchester which was in a not-so-hot area ( it was a drug addition services ) we had people attempting to rob the place regularly. Needle weilding headcases most the time as apposed to Gun weilding nutcases. But the advice was the same, back up; comply and try to calm the situation down as much as possible.

I'll be fucked if someone ends my life because of a couple of quid, i'll take the ego knock personally, at least i get to go home.

Have ya seen this city, it's tiny and awkward, it aint downtown LA and walk in armed robbery to centrum buisinesses isn't as prolific as this thread is making it out to be. If, I'm running a business?.

A gun is a gun which is what we're reeferring to here and if somebody waves one in yer face, unless yer certain they're gonna use it on you or somebody else....give them what they want. Everytime.
