by the way i brought that vanilla kush back in my jeans pockets in my suitcase. i had no problems. there were no searches in place when i left to come home and when i flew back to Scum (southampton) there was nothing so could have brought alot more but just not worth the risk for bigger amounts.

Well i was on Student Exchange in Canterbury and i brought Hash with me from Germany.We took Bus and travelled with the Ferry.
There was a place where the Bags and stuff was x-rayed,but no one searched our pockets.
Most safe place is between your Legs in your underwear,but when they think you have something they search there too.

With Plane the risk is greater cause at Airports they have Dogs.You know the small tunnels they add to the landed Plane so you can go into the Terminal? The Cops use this Bottleneck to place a dog there which sniffs on each person walking past.

And perhaps you take Hash instead of Weed.You can put 30 Gramms in your underwear with no Problem when you take Hash.It also much easier to cover the smell.You could tape a full 100 Gramm piece to your Body too,but with Weed you will have problems with 10 Gramms already.When you buy good Hash you get much more "THC per cm² smuggling room" . 1 G of Hash will need the space of 0,2 G Weed !

Also get some alcoholic cloth piece in a Bag (there little desinfection bags containg such clothes,to clean a public toilet before use for exampl) and before you go trough Customs you rub your Hands,specialy the inside with it.That reduces the risk for a positive sweat-quick test if they do one.

I've never travelled on a coach, always by air but I have a friend who did and he filled an empty coke can with all his baggies with left over weed in, pretended to be drinking the coke when he got on the coach then put the can in the coach bin, once safely through customs he removed the coke can from the bin and lived happily ever after.

for a long time there was a bus service from manchester to amsterdam called the cannabus.
it was horrible but cheap. imagine a glastonbury toilet on wheels being driven by half pissed geordies and showing horse porn for eighteen hours, all for twenty five quid return. it had "cannabus" painted in huge letters down one side and a dirty great weed leaf on the other. it used the dover/calais crossing and then drove up to amsterdam.
the return journeys were inevitably awful, featuring people who had lost their shoes, sold their watches for crack, and amusingly one time a chap who had been arrested for fighting almost as soon as he debussed, been held in a cell and then delivered back to the bus by the police just in time to go home. the point of this story is that practically everybody on that bus was bringing something home. the bus would enter the boat at calais having been waved through by french customs, and at the dover side a passport control officer would enter the bus look at the passenger list and then walk up the aisle counting passports and checking the odd one or two. in half a dozen trips on that bus i didn't see a single bag opened or person questioned.
the cannabus disappeared eventually and my last ferry experience was three years ago when on the return journey from the hoek we were pulled over at harwich and they went through the motor with a fine toothed comb, swabbed and searched all the occupants, did full police checks and in spite of coming up empty handed threatened us with visits from local police at our homes, (they didn't come).
things have changed i suppose.

On my last trip last week and for just about every trip in the last 2 years I've been body scanned on the way out of Amsterdam.

Not all schiphol gates have that scanner, it depends what airline you fly with. I usually fly BA and it almost always departs from gates D12-D15 - no body scanner at all, just x-ray. A few weeks ago I flew sleazyjet and it went from (I think) D25 where they had a scanner.
