Amsterdam is about the money, so quality isnt what the business people want. They want a product with high(er) profit margins. Those I source from in this country do it for love (yes they make a profit, but thats not their primary reason). Better flushed with a longer cure.

As for reasons for smoking other than the effect or medicianl use, how about for taste or the social side of it?

Give me weed that tastes amazing with a weak high anyday over a bit that tastes average and utterly mongs ya out.

If I wanna get ruined I bust out the hash's, oils if I really wanna get messed up.
