stayed in the canal view room until today, was a great view out to the damrak and the canal next to it, with all the tour boats.. don't know if it's the same building but i'm sure they have 3-4 apartments on that side of the building, as well as at least one on the warmoesstraat-side of it. the apartment we stayed in had great facilities, only room i know to avoid is the arabian nights or whatever its called..

your apartment is probably right across the street from the greenhouse effect hotel/bar..

I thought about booking this one for me and my princess during Amsterdam Reggae Festival (25th september) But I ended up booking a cheaper houseboat (passenger ship avanti)

Tell us about the room afterwards!

Hey Black-King. Hope you don't mind me asking, but ...

Did you book your houseboat online? Which website did you use?
How much did it cost you?

Thanks :)

I booked it thru www.hostels.com got a weekend (3 nights) at the boat for me and the ms. for just ~150 euro (+ 20 in some kind of fee to the webpage)

All in all I thought it was a cheap and decent deal since the boat is located very close to the city centre. (edit: about 300-350 meters from Nieuwmarkt)

Bless up!
