great way to use cfls...heats down..easy to handle...in a closet ok too....but cfls get eaten up in a room garden..i recon ya would need 10 of em in a 10 by 10 room...imstoned right now so if anyone knows what im talkin about keep it to yerself
...im typing out loud...you could definitly keep one person happy with one of those oven things

I also saw this, http://www.usbgeek.com/prod_detail.php?prod_id=0808 possibly good for daisy chaining fans.

Those fans just don't last long if left on 24/7. So I'd buy a few. or jsut use small pc fans designed to be left on.. After reading this post, I looked at the pics of the fans and the fan without the housing does look a little flimsy. The one in the housing looks to be rather solid, so I suppose looks can be deceiving?
I've never personally used a USB fan, but when I saw these the first thing I thought of was a micro grow. I agree that computer fans are better suited, as you stated they are designed to run 24/7/365.
