Yeah it definitely is. I heard they raid clubs at night and drug-test people on the spot. The gov is corrupt and heard that they sell clean urine at the same time/place. Also, heard they're known to extort money out of foreigners by setting them up, like some dealers will set you up and turn you in to the cops. I really want/wanted to go to Thailand but, hearing about that stuff is making me put it off.

I hear you. I'm still weighing up options to see Thailand or instead go to Goa in India which is just as bad with drug laws. Both equally top places to see, just a shame about how draconian they are when it comes to a bit of weed.

Crazy stuff, bet they believe their Gods will always protect them regardless, hence the complete nonchalance on the road.

yeah was strange, firefox wouldnt load it for me but IE did =/ and i HATE IE!

I was wondering what was going on. I never use IE and always use Firefox and occasionally Opera to check compatibility issues when web designing. I managed to watch the video by searching it, but have no idea why it wouldn't load from the thread link into Firefox, all I got was a black window.

A friend who's been said it's advisable once you've scored some weed there is to stroll out into the sea to waist depth and smoke your joint there in case the shit hits the fan you can swim off elsewhere. Yes I can swim btw, but the law is strict apparently and this was in Phuket, which I would like to check out while in Thailand as well.

yep can confirm this. when your on the islands, the mot common place to pick up is on the beach, they will pre roll for you too, so just go into the sea, and keep an eye out.

man, that isfucking mental, but i totally understand it..... in the part of the world, its so hard for us to comprehend the psychology of using a road.

india has the most insane roads ive seen, truelly chaotic, shit your pants time, but vietnam is the most similar to that video. cars driving on pavements, no lane dicipline, no obediace of signals and signs. also, knowing how the vietnamese and chinese act, they are vey quick to get vry angry when they feel wronged, so im suprised that no one got up and instinctivly ran over and tried to batter the drivers!

i learnt to drive a scooter in vietnam, in Hue. man that was a baptism of fire! genuinly every junction is a free for all, all 4 lanes just going, no on giving room for others!
