I'm curious, like. Whats your favourite way to smoke it without mixing it?

I've done the hot knives, and the pin through some cardboard under a glass but not many other ways.

My fiance's son showed me a new way when I was in Russia this past Feb'.
First, he would flatten out a small piece of hash to use, then he would make a hole in a plastic bottle. Next up was to 'hot-box' a cigarette, place the hash on the fire and insert it into the bottle.
When the bottle had filled up with smoke you just took off the cap and hit it. Nice and tidy!!

Another way I have done it is to roll a joint of pure hash. You take 1gm and sprinkle it in a paper. Then you would use a piece of steel rod (cut from a metal coat hanger) and place it on top of the hash. Then you took another gram of hash and cover the rod up. Roll it up as tight as you can but keep spinning the rod once in a while. Insert/cram the joint in a toaking stone, or whatever, then spin the rod and pull it out carefully. When done right the joint should have a hole all the way through it. It's important to have the joint in a stone/holder so that you do not close the hole. Otherwise its finished.
The joint gives a really smooth hit and it burns slow and evenly as a cigarette. 'kin Wallop!!!

my pipe is not exactly this one, but is very similar ... have been using it for 37 years and never smoked tobacco in it

i use a metal screen to keep the bits from going down the tube ... it is very easy to clean with vodka and pipe cleaners ... for a bit of nice mellow taste i sometimes use a final pipe cleaner soaked in cognac and let it dry out before using it

to stop it falling over when i put it down i have filed the bottom surface flat, so it sits up nicely between puffs

Hi Bergy, the "steal rod method" will be trying that out!

I never get an even burn when smoking hash, ends up looking like a volcanic carrot goes top heavy and burns a big hole wherever it lands

We used to smoke hash through what we called a LUNG
1 two litre coke bottle.
cut off the bottom.
insert plastic bag and tape up.
tin foil over the lid.(with holes)

crumble hash over foil, light whilst slowlly pulling plastic bag out of bottle.

My lungs are to old and tired now, would have trouble sucking air out of a 70 cl bottle.

I'm mostly a weed smoker, out of a glass pipe, but I do like hashish once in awhile. In my pipe I put a small layer of weed, then add some crumbled hash, another layer of weed and some more crumbled hash and on n on til the pipe bowl is full. If I'm not mistaken, this is commonly called a cocktail. I can get quite stoned using this method.

For me, a glass pipe or a bong usually does the job

Occasionally I like the 'under glass' method. heres what you need:

- 1 large glass (like the ones you would serve a milkshake in)
- 1 drawing pin / tack
- 1 plastic straw or tube

Flatten out a piece of hash (just helps it burn evenly) and stick it on the end of the drawing pin. Place this on a flat surface with the pin facing up. Get the glass and straw ready, then light the hash. Once its burning, put the upside down glass on top, this catches the smoke. Let the glass fill up for like 30 seconds, or until the hash has gone out. Lift the edge of the glass slightly, put the straw into the gap and inhale.

EDIT: just noticed the first post said you've done this already maybe some others are interested anyway.

I have just started smoking my hash through a glass pipe (cheers Twichal) but have used many methods , hot knives (my mate drives about wi a hk kit in his car ) lungs , wooden pipes , metal pipes , bucket bongs , bongs etc

I have to say really enjoying smokin through the glass ! i never used to like pipes that much sa i felt i never got a good taste etc ! that has all changed with the glass number !!

Rizla and tobbaccoo, just like herb. Got some amazing grinders that are wonders on marocs. if its oily like temple ball or charas i roll it out into sticks.

dam has better hash than weed now i think

Be sure to make sure that the hash doesnt go hard on you. I tried this when i was back in the UK some time ago and the bits just kept going hard so it wouldnt work.
Also, make sure that the ends are smoothed over, otherwise they will rip the hash to bits as you pull it out.

My lungs are like your - fucked! But this method is really nice.

Ha ha, now the clouds have cleared (pliable hash). m8, i will have to wait till oct (dam) to try this out. I have more chance of growing a 3rd leg than finding good hash in UK.

I presume that you were using SOAP BAR when u tried in the UK if so brob a good thing it wouldnt work all the best man

Bong/Pipe or even the odd hot knive threw the bottle .

i love rolling hash joints but i do use tobacco, but only about 1/4 of a cig in an xl paper, but the best way is in a glass pipe. no waste, no foul taste. i use a metal screen that i replace regularly (i bought 1000 of em online in 03 for $20) to make sure no little hot bits get in my mouth

ahh i think you gotta mix it with tobacco in a j. i feel like u enjoy the hash high a lot more, and it's nice having it burn so well...plus u get a subtle hash taste, and slowlyy get baked rather than just kaboom lol

but i suppose a piece with a butane lighter would do just fine as well..

Yeah I smoke it the same way, french hash joints are 0.33g of hash with an entire cig, and as a ciggie smoker it's the way I prefer smoking hash. But I do not spit on a glass pipe/bong
