OK I'm stoned but does anyone else get as blown away as I do with what goes on up in the big blue? I mean like breakdown A/C system, try a few things, get the jump leads on it, no go, no probs a couple of spare pumps in the locker OUTSIDE, soon fix it

What use it is and what they do in there is a bit beyond me buts its quite surreal when you think about it and relate it to most peoples reality.
I'd be up there like a shot given half a chance.

the idea of getting stoned and floating around in zero g sounds both fun and terrifying...but i dont think i could stomach the ride up in the shuttle.
on the other hand if if given the chance to fly along in a f-22/f-15 or a mig id be up in half a shot as well.

It absolutely blew my mind the very latest discovery I saw on the UK television programme called the Sky at Night, hosted by Sir Patrick Moore last night, at just how big this new star that's been found. Earth was represented in size as a single pepper corn and the sun, in relation was the size of a beachball. They then, in relation made the sun the size of a small coin in size and this new star was the size of the beachball. Crazy at just how big that is.

Have a place near me that offers it too. I guess the first jump or more you're strapped to someone else. Not sure how much it costs but you now got me looking into it.

Well, the one near me offering parachute jumps is only 8 miles away, costs 200 pound for roughly 1 mile height tandem fall. I'm giving this serious consideration. Sounds awesome, especially making a free-fall jump, not sure what that entails yet.

I think you are absolutely correct, but if it keeps another old(ish) person off the streets and out of trouble
