Just curious -- exactly where in the U.S. do you like to vacation? As an American, I'm interested in knowing. But seriously, where is this cool place you like in the states and why do you go there?king solomon wrote:will i as a English man ever (say in the next five years) be able to go to the states and smoke weed legaly like i do in amsterdam? any info would be great. if it is going to be legal one day it would be cause for celebration as i would be able to put my favorite holiday destination and my favorite passtime together![]()

Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
If it was to be legalised , and thats a big if then i would say of course you would be able to get it !!! it aint legal in Dam and you can buy it so why woud`nt you be able to if it was fully legalised in USA ?
Give me a vacation in Miami/San Fran/New York/Big Sur/Las Vegas/Chicago/Lowell/Denver/Boulder with a bag o legal weed and i would be a very happy boy !!

If the voters in CA block Prop. 19 in November, the likelihood of non-MMJ users being able to light up legally anywhere in the US will be slim to none. No other State, except maybe Alaska, is close to where CA is in terms of tolerance or legislation. To date, only 17 States and Wash. DC allow MMJ, and an additional 7 States have decriminalized cannabis. Even if a majority of the 50 States legalized cannabis, I don't think the the Feds will, at least not without a fight. Currently there is too much opposition on Capitol Hill to pass a federal law legalizing weed, and this may not change for some time. It's all good though, this should be a States rights issue anyway. Once non-pot States see how others are benefiting from the additional tax revenue, they will fall in line, eventually.
Until the day comes when we can light up without the fear of prosecution, keep on keeping on.

i have only been to the states 4 times (5 if you count cancun lol). the places were
1) kissamee (sp) in florida, i went there as a youngster and i think it is probably the best family destination in the world
2) new york x2, went on two weekend shopping trips and really enjoyed both times but that was about 5 years ago
3) miami, went there a couple years back for spring break and although it was really expensive (basicly the same price as london) i f**king loved it! lol
4) cancun, i know its not the u.s but it might aswell be i went there a few years ago for spring break aswell and 99% of the people i met there was either american or canadian! lol. and the few locals i met basicaly told me its a rich americans playground completly different to the rest of mexico
so as you can see i have never been disappointed with the states and i will probably go there again in the next year or two. and im just saying that if they was to legalise (or decriminalise it if you want) i would be a very happy man

Honestly the answer would be "NO! NEVER!", but I feel that there is substancial change (no the obama-like!) ahead! In the next two years there will be trouble all over the world and if mankind doesn´t mess it all up there will be "paradise on earth" after that "crisis"...king solomon wrote:will i as a English man ever (say in the next five years) be able to go to the states and smoke weed legaly like i do in amsterdam?
BUT... getting to America (swim?) will be quite difficult then!
Peace!

Hey Bushdoctor, are you possibly suggesting that there will be an event or series of events that will cause some type of significant "crisis"?bushdoctor wrote:Honestly the answer would be "NO! If so, would this have anything to do with the Brandenburg Group, corporate destabilization of Mexico, the actual "financial bubble" that will burst albeit three to five years earlier than predicted, a global class war between the haves and the have nots (0.5% vs 99.5%), massive melting of the polar caps causing catastrophic flooding around the world, or will the Messiah make his second coming (as in the Apocalypse) where only weed smokers will remain?
The next decade should be very interesting, whatever happens.
