Arrived at our hotel (nH Grand Krasnapolsky) at 10am, room wasn't ready so we dropped our bags, slipped into some shorts and flip-flops in respect of the weather and headed out to get some smoke.
First stop: Greenhouse: this was the first stop mainly because it was the closest decent cs to our hotel. We got 1g Hawaiian snow and 1g mexican haze, Hawaiian snow definitely the better of the two however I have to say that it wasn't 'incredible', great taste but not as powerful as I'd hoped.
We then went to some place on warmeostraat for breakfast, was an Irish bar, will not be returning, had Irish breakfast and was quite possibly the worst I've ever had!
Next stop was grey area, my favourite from last trip, got 1g of grey haze (one of my favourites from last trip and it was much better this time!!), very strong taste and high, fantastic weed! Also got 1g of silver bubble, €2 more than grey haze and tbh I don't think it's worth the extra, still good taste and high but imo not as good as grey haze. Also got 1g of grey ice for €25; definatelt worth the €25, sprinkled it into a few joints and it added a noticeable kick
Then we went to pucini across the road from GA (best chocolate shop in the dam, especially if you like liquours.As GA was packed out as usual we went to amnesia roundthe corner to smoke our purchases, had some great smoothies/milkshakes here, very nice cs, great place to relax!
We then went for lunch at wok to walk, excellent food, good value! Must visit if you like noodles
We then went to hunters, got 1g chocolope and 1g amnesia haze . The amnesia haze was definitely the best weed of the brute trip, very powerful taste and effect - absolutely fantastic weed
chocolope was also very good, slightly overshaddowed by the amnesia but still excellent weed! We went to smoke in cs36 across the road, very cool place to chill, great view onto damrak, you can sit and watch Amsterdam go by all day long. Also if you go to 36 you HAVE to try their green cake, very very tasty!!That night went to gauchos for dinner as my friend recently gave up being a vegetarian! We went to the one nearest barneys cs, service was outstanding for Amsterdam standards which is generally very poor, food was outstanding and wasn't as expensive as we expected! Should definitely try the beef dilomo here - excellent!
We then went to barneys cs. In jan I got 1g of violator icolator from here and it was by far and away the most powerful thing I'd ever smoked so I wanted to get a gram of that and a g of bud. The budtender said that the best of the three icolators (barney rubble, violator icolator and royal Jelly - all €55/g) was definatelt the royal jelly so we got a gram of than and on the budtenders reccomendation we got a gram of red diesel. As a diesel fan I was looking forward to this but unfortunately is was a let down, bad taste and not very strong either
the royal jelly seemed very good that night in the hotel but we had better later in the trip!The next day we got 2g of grey haze and 1g of big buddah cheese from GA, the BBC was fantastic, unbelievable taste and great high! The budtender said it was one of the best batches he's ever had!
We then rolled a few joints and rented a boat for a few hours from rentaboatamsterdam - a lot of fun, easy to operate, would recommend!
We then went back to hunters for more amnesia and chocolope, also got a g of NYCDiesel - great diesel , strong taste and effects (asked to see it the day before and it was all shake but it had been topped up since then
). Smoked in hunters bar, great chill spot, especially if you like a beer (pitcher - €10)My notes got progressively bad from this point lol so I will summarise:
Ate at burger bar for two consecutive meals, got wagyu beef burger both times and they were the two best burgers of my life!!! No exaggeration. This place is a MUST visit for burger lovers!
Went to bushdoctor on thorbeckeplein, very rude an ignorant budtender, however the quality of the hash more than made up for it! Got 1g of kushadellic ice (€55/g), in comparison to the royal jelly from barneys this is in a different league completely! Excellet looks, taste, and by far the most powerful smoke of the trip! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get ridiculously out of your face
