Visiting Oct 28-31st (+ Joe Satriani / Sonny Landreth gig)

Good afternoon ACD 
My boyfriend and I have just booked up a long weekend in Amsterdam over Hallowe'en. We last visited in February this year, but unfortunately the holiday was cut short by events back at home, and we had to return early. I was planning on posting a trip report of our last trip, but never quite got around to it after what happened, although I did take a few pictures and notes e.t.c. so I'll try and do a wee report when I find the pics.
Anyway, we decided we had to return to Amsterdam in order to finish our holiday properly, we didn't do a lot of things we have planned (not that that doesn't normally happen anyway
) like visiting the Albert Cuyp market, Katsu, Club Media, and going further afield to Haarlem or somewhere.
Utrecht was also recommended by a Dutch friend, although I know nothing about the place, so if anyone has any information about Utrecht that would be great
This time we'll fit those visits in hopefully, and we also thought it would be fun to see some live music while we were over, so we checked ticketmaster, and found an awesome gig, a Guitar Night with Joe Satriani, Sonny Landreth, and a third act t.b.a. , at the Heineken Music Hall on Friday night. These guys are really fantastic guitar players, so we snapped up a pair of tickets and I'm looking forward to it like you can't believe

I guess I'll be all over this place for the next 10 weeks trying to find some new places to visit, and getting myself too excited for the holiday Can't wait already!
Also, we booked an apartment rather than a hotel this time around, it will be our first time staying in an apartment, I'm really looking forward to it. I booked through CityMundo, after a few recommendations from this forum. Smoking allowed Hope that means cannabis too!
