anyone have these? any of them ever intrude on your toking habits? heres a quick story of something that happened to me last night.

so yea during summer when the weather is nice and the skies are clear at night when its dark i like to go outside smoke a joint or two and look at the stars. last night was a particularly nice night. the stars were out, skies were clear and there was no moon that i could notice.

anyway on tot he story.

the house next to mine is a rental property. most of the time this summer the moms been out of town it seems and her high school age son(16-19) has been throwing loud ass house parties into the wee hours. as weird as this sounds i dont want to call the police because im smoking weed myself and like it or not im 25 and it was only 7 or so years ago that i was attending similiar parties myself, so i was trying to keep the "let them have some fun attitude". i didn't wanna be the dickish neighbor who calls the police and gets their car keyed either.
so all was going well, i was smoking a nice gdp and ssh joint. all of a sudden my friend gets really quiet. i thought it was because he was really tired(dude works 12 hrs a day laying brick and doing other construction work) but then he starts telling me to be quiet and making hand signals as if he hears something. then all of a sudden it happens. 2 f'n drunk underage teenage girls heads pop over my 6 foot 4 tall wooden fence and in a fucking NON inside voice i hear "can we get a hiiiit?" naturally i said no, but it really pissed me off and i felt violated.

anyone have a similar experience. i want to go over and talk to the 2 sons who threw the party and tell them to keep their damn guests out of my yard and off my reasonably new fence but im afraid this may backfire. any advice? am i over reacting? i just thought this was really inappropriate and invasive. and i guess what really freaked me and my friend out was thet they were minors had e cops rolled by and saw them and smelled weed it would have put me into a f'd up legal situation.

come on m8 seriously? u felt violated by teenage girls asking for a toke on your j? i would of let them have a hit
+also if they were 19 as u say, i would have invited the round for a proper toke

not in my state. if your a minor and you give them even beer your proper fucked legally. even worse for weed. and even worse than that if its medical marijuana like mine was. i just thought it was really weird that someone came into my yard. thats usually my "safe place" when i smoke as strange as that sounds. have never had problems before. the owners of the house were 18-19 but these girls were 16-17 id say. so def minors. and a proper toke would be out of the question that would be hella creepy not to mention statutory rape

i wanted to tell them to go fuck themselves but i didn't feel like fighting any drunk over testotoroned 17 year old dudes and then get an assult on a minor charge either. the minors in my country can get away with anything. we dont have asbos.

i guess im also testy because i plan to move abroad to uni in a few years. and any bad legal situation could hinder my efforts in this like for visas, work permits, citizenship, and just leaving the country.

i understand the immediate reaction you've had, anyone would react the same....

i also applaud/appreciate/understand your attitude towards letin these guys have fun. we were all there, we all understand what its like to be 16, and theres no point turning into that dickhead that tried to spoil your fun (as you saw it then).

if it becomes a regular thing then you are well within your rights to go next door and have a word, but if ifts litterally once or twice, then just remember we all did it, and smile and feel happy that we're not 16 any more.

the fact that they could smell what you were doing from their side of the fence is a different concern though... in a way you cant blame them for following the scent... just only drunk kids are cheeky enough to pop their heads over and say 'pleeeease'

thanks m8. yea it has been a regular occurence and it was going on even during my exam weeks. and i agree totally about the smell im partly at fault. from now on only outside when its late enough that no ones out. i used to toke out there in broad daylight. not anymore though.

My neighbors keep well out of each other's way so I don't have the same problem but I think u did the right thing in leaving it alone. U r absolutely right to be pissed but remember, it was the 2 teen girls who invaded ur privacy and NOT ur neighbor's son (who can't be expected to stand up to 2 girls who he is prolly trying to make out with anyway).

Anyway, if u had narced on them, it prolly would NOT have ended well IMO. Yeah, ur car stands a good chance getting keyed and u would alienate ur neighbors, making 4 an uncomfortable situation down the road. If I were in ur shoes, I would just chalk this up to an unfortunate one-off situation. I think the real offenders in this case r the 2 dumbass girls.

titus: yea they prob would have just slamed the door in y face. hes got terrier syndrome. smallish dude with a bark bigger than any bite he has. he tried to fight my 55+ year old neighbor a few years ago. was hilarious. this is weird too because its total middle class suburbia.

they climbed the fence(fence is the height of a basketball player and these girls were prob not over 5'4 they def had to climb it to even peak) but not completely over. but in order to get to said fence they entered my front yard/garden w/o asking.
i was just pissed they(as well as me a little bit) almost got me into a bad situation. plus these were the screechy teenage types that had the party gotten busted they would have been like "but the guys next door are smoking weed go arrest them too".

i wont front like i didn't get into mischief at that age. but i learned quickly. when i was screwing up at age 17, drinking to much and skipping school for 2 months my mom sent me to boarding school in texas for the summer. so after that i knew what side of the line to stay on.

Well yes there underage but alot of us on this board were doing the same thing at their and if your going to smoke some "illegal" pot where they can smell it of course they are going to ask you for a hit. I know I would . LOL.

ok, any advice on how i should approach this with the neighbors? as i said i refuse to get the cops involved because thats a dick move, but i just want to let he neighbors in a non aggressive way that i don't ant their guests in my yard.
