Unfortunatetly it´s not as positive as it sounds:
They plan to allow certain pharmaceutical THC products on a special prescription, a so called "narcotic prescription" (the same one you can get opiates with). These must be synthetic medical products. THC directly from the plant is explicitly forbidden.
Doesn´t it sound like a typical German solution...?
I think they will fail at the German Constitutional Court if anyone manages to take it there. I sounds not very lawful that a patient is forbidden to take natural cannabis and is forced to take synthetic (and more expensive) one, because even now there are about 10 patients in Germany that are allowed to smoke the herb.
