Booked for 420/2011

Post by Trad »

I have just received my confirmation from KLM....I'm booked April 1/2011, arrive A'Dam 7:00am April 2. 226 days until departure. My plan is to stay in the city until the 26th of April and then 5 days touring battle sites in an RV rented out of Dusseldorf. I should be able to spend the afternoon of the 30th in A'Dam before the flight home.
Just have to find lodgings now.

FlyByNight, I believe you already have me listed on "Whose In Town".

If I don't see you no more in this world, I'll meet you on the next one.

Looks like this is shaping up to be full house.... 8)

Hey Cisco....as to the battlefield tour....the plan is to enter Belgium at Fort Eban-Emael, where the German Para's dropped. Stops at Waterloo, Vimy, Hill 60 and The Menin Gate and then up to Dunkerque. Follow the coast line around to Dieppe, continuing on to the beaches of Normandy. Then across northern France to Bastogne. Follow Operation Market-Garden up to Arnhem....which I missed last trip, well the bridge anyways.......  ....and then a long drive south across Germany to Berchtesgaden to see the Eagles Nest.
