Just wanted to take a sec and introduce myself. Im from the States (Minnesota), im a Software Engineer/Computer Programmer and im planning my first trip to Amsterdam before the end of the year. When I come depends on how long it takes to receive my passport. Im in my mid-30's but ive never been out of the US, though I have been to Hawaii, so ive never needed a passport and I really dont know how long the process will take. Im really excited to visit the museums, meet the people, see the art, and of course enjoy some coffee shops. Ill more than likely be visiting alone so ive been reading various posts here prepping myself for the initial trip, but I figured I should go ahead and register so I can ask questions if needed.

Anyhow thats a quick few tidbits about me. I look forward to discussing various topics with you all.

Regards,
MagicFloyd

...btw name is due to my love for the Orlando Magic and Pink Floyd
