I have just been looking at what hardware I still have left and found I sill have a new adjusta shade so I will use that, I also found an ec and ph meter (they need batterys and I hope they still work), some full bottles of ferts (hmmm they have been stood the loft for 3 years so I may chuck this and buy new) and lots of air and waterpumps. So at lease I will have some stuff I won't need to buy. I do intend on buying a new son-t-agro cos I don't know how much use I've had out of my bulbs.
Im wondering about genetics too !? im to busy trying to get my mate to grow loadsa strains , and another mate has suggested picking something and sticking with it till you dial right in and get the best you can ? then move on !! any tips ?
As far as dialing in is concerned you only really need to dial a strain or 2 in to the medium you're using, once you've done that you will only need to tweak it for differant strains - just my humble opinion btw.
By diaing in do you mean "getting to know the stain or phenotype really well"? If this is what you mean well I would agree...if you work with a selected clone and do 3 or 4 grows with clones from this selected fave you do tend to get to know it quite well. I did spend a lot of time with a selected mazar (I had here going for nearly 2 years before I binned her off). Now this Mazar was not my fave smoke infact I did not even like the taste much, I like sweet skunky weeds but this mazar was more sour tasting, but she would grow so dam easy and fast (she cloned real fast), she gave a good yield and the custermers loved it, my dealer would ask for this mazar stuff over weed that I considerd a much better smoke however the Mazar was far faster and more compact and less hassle to grow, so I did load of mazar even though I started to hate its smell..
Mazar was easy to do, but as you said, gets old quick. Shame most of DP's are memminized nowadays. Looking for a regular pack of SkyWalker. Havent looked that hard though
