Here in the wonderful city of Las Vegas we have some pretty damn good marijuana, i mainly hook up with kushes i.e Bubba kush, Purple kush, headband, etc.... I've had ak-47,blueberry,train wreck, etc.... BUT i have never seen any cheese strains yet?!?!?!?!?! I've noticed the cheeses are pretty damn popular and seem to always get rave reviews from posters i know here and channels...SO my question is what cheese variety do you prefer and from which shop??? I wanna try Barney's blue cheese i know that much, but what else? Thanks in advance......

yeah the cheese from HGF was ledgendary in 2008ish, but in lrecent july it wasnt the same, and the (excellent) staff were honest enough to say that its not what it was. i think HGF deserves respect for being honest in that respect.

you wouldnt kick it out of bed mind you, but its not the same batch

This last June Basjoe and Extreme Coffee Shops both had very good Cheese, as good as Homegrown Fantasy used to have. If you like the Big Buddha Cheese, Coffee Shop Biba sells some good samples of that; at 8.00 euro per gram. I prefer the H.G.F version, (Basjoe & Extreme), which has more Sativa characteristics.

From what I heard, the loss of the mother plant is why the strain has changed. I do agree that their 2007-8 offerings were outstanding, especially when compared to what other shops were offering. Just an opinion.

I think we will continue to see hybridized cheese strains like White, Blueberry, Strawberry, Lemon, etc... but I think it will be some time before we see another 'old school' variety. Takes time to back cross, stabilize, and all that. Also just an opinion.

The closest youll get to the uk vars is at bagheera. i always have a gander at cheese on offer n this was by far the cheesiest of the lot and quite strong too.

Big dudahs version the afgani used is too prominant n mellows out that taste which is what makes this strain unique and he has used that cheese in his crosses when he supposedly has the exodus cut ??? just lazy

I had the big buddha cheese from Grey Area this weekend and I wasnt impressed. Slight fruit flavor, no cheese and a little harsh.

i think chiesel is a really nice plant and a nice smoke. you can smell both parents, and still it forms something new

Agreed especially if it's the right balance, I grew one out that had that typical NYCD smell and taste but with the kick of the Cheese to add to it's strength, shame I didn't clone/keep her.

I've just started a load of differant cheese seeds off including Blue Cheese, Chiesel, Chunky Cheese and Bubble Cheese. :D
