you could always come to Leiden
there are about 10 coffeeshops here and it's a bit cheaper than amsterdam... plus it's a cute little town with lots of windmills, canals, small little alleys and old dutch buildings....
only problem is the coffeeshops open at 4pm and close at 10pm... limited hours I know, but the town is easily navigable and it's a chill atmosphere...
just an idea
peace,
hippy

good topic...
three shops that dont get much recognition and really should are:
Little
Sanementereng
Rokerij 4
little we really enjoyed and has a nice comfy feeling, quality staff, with big screen great for sports.
Sanementereng is one of amsterdams genuine secret gems. tucked over the west of the central map, Ive never read anything about it before and i know nobody whos been there, but its just brilliant. so unique amongst coffeeshops. its a jumble sale/flea market shop and coffeeshop. run by a lovely old lady and her cat.
Rokerij 4, is over the same end of towen as Sanementereng and as a result nobody really finds it by accident. Sure the Rokerijs are a big and popular chain of coffeeshops, but this one is particularly nice with all the candles and lovely decor. only problem with the fantastic rokerijs is you can quite easily fall asleep as conversation is hard in such a genuinly chilled place.

A bit trendy and a bar/coffeeshop separated in a strange way to comply with the new guidelines..
I bought a cool titanium grinder as the weed was a bit expensive as is in centrum of Amsterdam..
Have to go back as there are some 200 shops. Are there any recommendations for next time.?
