Whoevers charging your friend for cuttings is a cunt imo.

I think your friend (how long before we have to drop this?? ) struggle getting 10 of those Wilma pots into that tent, I think I have some and they're 260mm x 260mm.

defo go wi the lumatek ballast its digital so alot less heat and noise if i was to do hps i would defo get one !!

Yep... your right there! So many mistakes and I (there I said it!) havent even started! Well I suppose a spare pot and cutting isnt the worst thing in the world...

Final question guys and I'll let you get back to why we are here - time - I was thinking of doing a 4 week veg on the cuttings, 9 week flower and 2/3 week dry - any observations?

edit: one more question! Do I need an intake fan? If so what would you go for?

use 2 inline fans (100mm),with acoustic ducting, the bottom fan(if angled up slightly) puts the fresh air in and the top fan takes the air out to your carbon filter. this is the way i do it and it cuts out the need for an oscilating fan inside your tent.also as your tent is the same size as mine, id go with no more than 5 plants, depending on variety. i also use a 600 hps bulb.

ive never had any probs with heat build up or noise

thanks. Am getting a 5" extractor fan + filter, so what youre saying is that I need 1 more fan for intake? Or 2 intake + 1 extract?

cheers. I'm being stupid here, but from what I understand you use an extractor fan for intake aswell?

Ie my extractor fan is 5", so for intake I should get a 4" fan and turn it the other way? confused.com!

I have run two of them tents with lumnateks for a fair few years up until the end of last year. The noise is not that bad just make sure your ducting is sealed well. I also use to run a fan controller which jacks the fans down when it gets cooler (Bedtime).
Lumnateks are the dogs bollocks and by far the best lighting system i have personally used. Mantis reflectors work best with them but Adjustas are okay but check the connector plug as they can be a shit connection that shorts on the adjusta lead end.

And yes i have slept many happy hours in that room too and yeild i cant say in soil as i used to get crappy yeilds from soil just top tasting. I would want 20-25 back at least though for that outlay.

Get yourself Cervantes Bible, very good for quick reference. Learn by doing, just make sure you have the time/cash to get anything you have forgotten.
