so my erm friend...

Isnt very happy... everythings set up, he got 10 sour d cuttings last night, however removed 5 already! He thinks hes been had - the cuttings werent rooted, basically just like putting a stalk in a pot and hoping for the best! And he paid £70.... Does he take this as someone mugging him off? Do all cuttings come fully rooted?
Anyhow, he's looking to save as many of these as possible, 2 or 3 look like they could be alive.... and hes off to get 10 blue cheese seeds and do it that way... then no one to blame when it goes wrong!

Yeah if you buy cuttings (which imo is a piss take anyway) they should come fully rooted as it can be very hit or miss for them to root, put them in a propagator mist them once and leave them be, just check that the medium they're in in damp and dont over-water them.

Like Boner said you may still get 'em to root

BUT I would start from seeds that way you know you have not introduced no spider mites to your new clean growroom

yep.. pisstake indeed.... 10 blue cheese seeds instead... managed to drop and lose on haha... mr. clumsy is finding this growing business tough
Also another question, if you guys dont mind me irritating you on a sunday
Im a bit worried about my temp/hygrometer - I've got it in a pot with the temp probe in balancing on the top of the pots, under the lamp.
The temps are hitting 35+, although it doesnt feel that hot. It's also taking ages to adjust ... ie. if it goes in a cold room it takes a few minutes as the temp goes gradually down by .1.... do you think its faulty? Or am I putting it in the wrong place?
The only thing I've got to compare it with is a crappy wodden £2 garden thingy, which Im not convinced will be accurate either!
I guess the panic attacks cool down after growing for a while??

Cheers.
