How is the Stayokay Vondelpark. Seems like it would be great it is in a nice area etc. I can always hang out at other hostels for the party experience.

I can get over sharing a bathroom and shower I suppose given this budget it is rough to get your own room and facilities.

Stayokay seems pretty clean, safe not a party hostel. Which is good and bad. I am sure it will be fine. It has no curfew and offers breakfast.

I guess when you break it down thats all you need free breakfast, bed to sleep on and that it is clean.

AIR BNB is turning out to be a nice option if you dont want to stay in the Hostel's or Hotels.

It seems more secure than CragsList and the people seem as if they can use the income and are welcoming of all visitors.

Travel websites such as www.expedia.com, Priceline, Travelocity etc... really need to STOP posting shitty places on their sites. I know they also need budget hotels but it hurts THEIR business to have the shitty ones up.

I did that last time and NEVER want to experience that again. I want a quality vacation no more headaches or price mistakes.

Cornerhouse put their prices up, I think they quoted me €85 a night for March this year opposed to €45 a night last April.

Ill look at Cornerhouse today a long with what i find about staying with a local on Air BnB.

Id rather get best stay for cheap. I can meet up with anyone, i can hang out at the hostels etc. But i want a good nights sleep its important!

Yeah it may of been 75 but I still felt like telling them to fuck themselves.

stiil thats to high i remember when it was 35 - 40 Euro for a single ensuite

shoot the apartment i want to rent for nex QD is only 67 us dollars a night peperson (3) for 14 nights, and thats 2 bedroom on the leidsegracht

I'm glad you put this thread on as it was something I was going to ask and I will check out some of theplaces for my stay in October.
I know what you say about priceline but I think the rates your seeing would be alot cheaper on nyop starting with 4* I got 3 nights last October for me and the missus for £135 or there abouts.

however I am looking for budget this time to as I will be solo but only for the 1 night:lol:

I didnt hear anything good about Kooyk. I am not sure how it is now. I usually read a lot from the travel sites themselves and from www.tripadvisor.com

I found nice people for 50-60 a night US Dollar. Includes nice clean place to stay, breakfast and good locations. So I stay in a couples house or with a young adult or whomever. All works out in the end!

I liked flying pig, and have been back there and fingers crossed will be returning there in november, in my experience it has a fun friendly vibe, cheap and clean. Most people who ive met there seemed very sociable, infact on my first trip there a staff member got talking to me and a friend and took us out to a squater pub, with a gig going on.

Yeah one night, 2 days as it's just a good smoke, I want some "me time" the last few times I have only managed to get away from my family for a few hours and loved the CS crawl I had, so 2 free days with a couple of hundred euros would be brilliant.... Saying that a week would be better but I think I'm chancing things with the missus for just 2 days.. LOL

It seems as If I will end up in a dorm at the Bulldog my previous reservation fell through. So no more room to myself.

Well I guess the bulldog has its pros just like any place. Really got no idea what kind people stay in there. Worst case scenario? All the other customers turn out to be total dicks. Still you got a decent location and the only thing you have to do at BD is sleep. Don't worry, bet you're gonna have a ball...
