I dont think feminised seeds are actually that good for novices as they're more prone to herm on you, get some good regular genetics and find a nice girl, clone the bitch and job done.

but yah i read up bout em n lookin deeper think he has some really good genetics there apparently the blues is an original cut of the propa blues n also does quite aa bit of testing which is hard to do on such a large scale in uk n hopefully next year a blues seed too !!!!

mmm i think that say dna or reserva p femmed are pritty reliable n few others that do the job propperly i think they have their place smaller veg n flower tents say 4 plants 1 may turn fem n ya u can clone it but yo may also end up with 4 males

If he does his homework chooses right femmed seed n keepe environment in check wont stress her n should remain hemi free i like sound of oldtimes but don som OG#18 N Amnesia lemon then oldtimes n killers like to get pheno like friend had of oldtimes n try all of killer phenos mmmm

I've grown plenty of feminised seeds and my enviroment is pretty bang on and I do get nanas late on in flowering quite a lot, a lot of the so called experts reckon they're sterile but I've found seeds so thats bollocks.

Most of the seed companies stress the females to produce feminised seeds so they're automatically putting stress into the seeds which in turn will cause hermies.

DNA aren't all that either, yes they have some nice genetics but even their regular seeds can be quite prone to hermies, 99% of the seed companies will always say it's the enviroment that causes hermies but thats just them covering their backs.

Just my humble opinion.

boners humble opinion is backed up by many people afaik.

as i understand the cheaper ways to produce fem seeds definitely encourages hermies. the seed companies like money i imagine.

I blame the growers mate, they asked for feminised seeds so everyone started producing them, even people like Reservoir Seeds are doing them in dribs and drabs now, dont get me wrong if you have a very limited space where you can only grow seed plants (as in no room for clones and so on) they're a god-send but they will (if we let them) kill off the landrace strains which are more important to the preservation of cannabis genetics.

too right..fuck the growers...lol....ive done ,vanilla kush fem barneys, lsd fem barneys,ice cream fem paradise,cheisel fem bb ,...and they are all at least 10th generation clone and have NEVER (whew) seen a bannana yet..i am seeing drift on mk ultra,30 gen at least, and mazar,..but shes been cloned for over ten years so its about time

.....just go fuck off with the autoflower

and boner..alot of us still collect landrace beans when we can ,and sit on em like gold

...they aint going anywhere soon

Lol any plant can hemi femmed or not i agree that some may be more prone to this by bad breeding procedures but also some plants are nutriant sensitive some more sensitive to temp/humidity changes. The femmed debate will go on as long as ppl grow,

I see it as a convenience item you can pay extra to have some of the work done for you sometimes not as good as yourself you take that 'risk' for the convenience.

As bong says there are still people still collecting landrace seeds n they are available from some seedbanks i think that more experienced growers show more interest in these for variety or breeding stock.

Tis the great thing about canna so many vars that there WILL be a bud out there for everyone and it wont be the same for all i prefere the indica dominant stone but dont think sativas are shit just not for me which is why the oldtimes i smoked really changed that

I honestly thought that fem seeds would be better for a 1st grow , hopefully less probs all around , i'm more than happy with how they are doing , but 2 days ago I did have to remove 2 nannas from my wappa ,I checked & checked for more on all 3 but didn't find any thank fuck ,keeping a close eye out for more now though .

you should at least have a good hands on knowlege of what to look for in hernies...not so easy sometimes,and a few swallow the banannas up completly due to fast bud growth(POWER PLANT as an example) and they never have a chance to open

..i find on regs,the 3rd node down usually holds yer answer,..90 percent of the time if they are gonna form they are right there

on fems,its a crap shoot..they fly outa everywhere...i like to let the greenies start with a nice clone ,a growers bible, and see the fun of growin,,then drop the heavy,scary news that the moon aint made of cheese...heheheh...what?....white russian
