Thanks for the great report and list of good smokes.
I noticed you seem to like Purple Power outdoor and sampled both your picks from Loft and HGF. The HGF Purple Power seems more potent then the Loft Paars. The female budtender from HGF didn't know how good the Purple Power was as she had not smoked it herself. Perhaps she will give it a try. I'm gonna continue smoking this Purple Power for a couple of weeks I think also because it's only 5 euro's for 1 gram.

Ya, Godbud and Ambrosia ( GodxBurmese) is pretty common as are a bunch of strains ( Texada Timewarp, Fruit , Brittish Columbian )that do not seem to make it globally.
Last spring we got this crazy weed called Infinity.
Completely a daytime smoke, never want to try that near bed time or youd be up all night.

Iko, I'm on the East Coast, but one of my best buddies here gets stuff from BC. I haven't been home in a long time, as I currently reside in India, but whenever i get some it's always veryy dank. Last time I had some sweet, sweet BC Grapefruit.

… and a few passing thoughts on the shops:

Anyday – Feels like a cosmetics boutique inside – the vibe was a tasteful shade of white. 'Tenders were professional and courteous. The Durban Poison was good, like a sunset is good.

Barentsz – Home of the apocalyptic Silver Pearl. A tidy place in a tidy neighborhood. Small but interesting menu. Interesting budtender. Has a seating area but seems to attract a buy-n-fly clientèle.

Boerejongens – Very popular with the locals. Friendly service. Has more security cameras than a pawn shop. Has a gorgeous, museum-piece seating area – that you can't sit in.

Chapiteau – The one-stop gourmet shop for everything Diesel.

De Bommel – A locals' pub, minus the alcohol. A must-do if you have a thing for bears. Friendly budtender.

HGF – They sold me Cheese (a classy indoor strain) and Purple Power (fine outdoor weed). I'll admit I haven't yet tried more than two varieties from any one shop. On the slim evidence of those two selections from HGF, though, I'll say it's the best all-around shop I've visited.

Grey Area – Between all the hype and having to wait on line like a sheep, GA would've had to have had access to the Stash of God to have impressed me. I wasn't impressed. Sorry.

Kashmir – A large menu. Would enjoy a brisker tourist trade if their menu included descriptive details, like Boerejongens' and GA's does. The Planken was strangely intriguing.

Loft – The coffeeshop that looks like a coffee shop inside. Sister shop to De Republiek and Supermarket, judging from the logos on the menu. The Afghaan Haze is reason enough to go. Popular with the locals.

Westerpark is just a tram, or even a nice walk, from Central Station.

PS: I have'nt ruled out hiring a bike if the route to and from is not to hazardous!

It appears you're interested in visiting Zaandam. (The bike path along the western edge of town is indeed a pleasant place to walk.) I got back and forth from the city by train. Zaandam is a 10-15 minute ride from Centraal Station.
