Hello from Japan
Hello from Japan
Hello Everyone!
I am very happy to say that I have booked my first trip to Amsterdam for this December. I will be staying from the 23rd till the 31st, and would be interested in any TnT's while there.
Looking back, I should have booked through the 2nd of January, but it doesn't matter, I'm going to Holland!
I just wanted to say, "hello," and it would be great to meet up with some people, if the opportunity arises.

You have been posted on the December Whos In Town page.
You can see who else may be in town during your stay.
Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it.
There already is one planned for the 23rd.
By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.
https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/profi ... le&u=51162
I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.
First timers get my S G Collins recommendation
I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there.
How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam.
Enjoy

Hi and welcome,
How is the smoking scene in Japan? I have a friend who visited, he said there are MANY weed smokers in Japan, but its all very underground and secret. For example you can buy glass pipes and bongs in many shops, but they are usually under the counter.
He also said its possible to find very good quality weed and hash in Japan, is that true?

Amsterdam Viking warning .. ???
Hello Everyone!
Thank you for the warm welcome. <(_ _)>
I'm glad that I found the wealth of information contained on this site.
I definitely hope to have a very, very merry Christmas in Amsterdam. I can't wait. ^^
Besides, I spend so much time trying to master the standard 1,945 Kanji, that if i smoked, I'd probably never get it done. With that said, I came to Japan a few years back as an exchange student, and at that time I knew someone who had obtained a little weed from some guy in Osaka, but I was told it was average at best.
But like I said, the penalties are severe here; several years or life imprisonment. For a foreigner, you probably won't get either of those if you're caught, but I'm sure you'll be fined, have to go to court, and then subsequently deported. So I just do without.

Unfortunately, as far as I know it is non-existent. I live in rural Japan. And, in the country side, people are very curious about foreigners, and everyone knows your business, and since the penalties are so great if you are caught with drugs, I have not even ventured to ask.Bleak wrote:How is the smoking scene in Japan? On the flip side, Japan is obsessed with the image of the Pot leaf. You see it on air fresheners, pencil cases, on clothing, you name it, they have it.
The same can be said for the playboy bunny. It's strange to see 7 or 8 year-old children walking around with playboy bunny shirts, and pot leaf pants, but you can.
